I considered downsizing when I had 24 pedals in the chain

Currently I'm down to 32.

overkill is underrated, eh.jpg
Do you find yourself using all those dirt pedals? I don't use dirt pedals any more but when I did I found I got more use out of them if I stuck to 2 or 3 and committed to those flavors for any given period rather than having 15 different fuzz and OD pedals always available.

Well, that setup is in the band room and gets used in different projects and jams, so yes, I use all of them - one day or the other.
I'd say maybe 80% of the dirt pedals are used regularly, and 20% occasionally.

I enjoy having all those flavors available.

I recently did the same thing where I have all my pedals on the floor instead of taking them out of the drawer to use them. I find that I'm using more sounds now than evar.

when i have band practice, I usually just take one or two with me, but for home use and recording it seems to fare well having lots of dirt.

this is flipping sweet,

curious you have pitch after dirt, is that for a specific sound you are looking for?
