Not sure how I'm going to get anything productive done in the fall/winter; Cyberpunk, Doom Eternal, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2 (maybe?), Outer Worlds. So many good games coming

Shit, I forgot Borderlands 3! Seriously, BL3, Doom, and Death Stranding all coming out within about a month; I'm going to have to take some time off work.

I like me some shmups as long as they're not super hard

One thing I feel a little sad about is that I'll never again experience that feeling of leaving Midgar or Balamb Garden and discovering how fucking big the world is. WoW was like that too, before Dungeon Finder and voice chat. I also miss typing everything and reading/being a part of general conversations in games instead of being called gay by a 12-year-old via microphone.

I miss server browsers and returning to the same privately-owned Battlefield 1942 server night after night to hang with the same people, that sense of community.
