nothing is "universally beloved", but the main naysayers around BOTW seem to be weirdo Zelda fans that are obsessed with dungeons, who fail to realise that the whole game is chock full of mini-dungeons and the overworld littered with boss battles. it's a very generous game that you can basically play however you want. i think the menus and inventory could be better but it's a truly excellent game.
But is there a water level?

I have my post holiday depression after being in Japan for a month. So i'm going to start Modern Warfare untill Death Stranding comes out. I was craving Siege for the longest time, but the new Halloween mode and skins does nothing for me.

Not necessary, but it's actually implemented quite well and is pretty fun once you flesh out your decks a bit and get your head around the basic strats. It also has a really cool quest that involves playing a high-stakes tournament in an upscale brothel, Maverick style. The cards/decks serve as nice collectibles, too.

But on the other hand you can never play a game and not suffer at all :)

Gwent is one of the better cardgame sidegames, but it's absolutely broken once you get a few rare cards. Luckily Witcher 3 allows you to choose what difficulty you want Gwent to be.

COD: Modern Warfare storymode is legit fun as hell on Realistic Difficulty, no HUD and the combat is pretty raw. The MP maps on the otherhand are pretty fucking stupid but it'll be alright for a few tens of hours :idk:

Saw something about this cool new Norwegian game that's apparently being shopped around to publishers.
Very Stalenhag-esque atmosphere.

I just blew my own mind, 22 years too late.
The Genesis game Contra: Hard Corps has a song called "Last Springsteen". It's the final boss theme.
Bruce Springsteen = "The Boss"
"Last Springsteen" = LAST BOSS FUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK

I'm already tired of MW, how the fuck do these unpolished shit games maintain such a massive fanbase?

Constant freezing mid game, graphical glitches, poor spawning systems, and hit reg has been pretty bad too. Whats worse is that every map is way too open so everything just becomes a choke point and then the killstreak gunships murder everyone in spawn and trying to get into cover. I don't mind dying, provided I actually could've done something better to stop it. :idk:

Oh, and game chat audio doesn't even go into my Headphones - rather, it goes through my PC speakers.

This. I have to keep myself from watching all of the videos of it popping up on my YT feed. Difficult.

Literally just bought it for PS4, mainly because everyone seems to be playing it with Game pass on PC. Seems like the right game to support at full price and I have missed playing a RPG like this so much. I'm really not a big fan of Fallout, but Space-Country is always such a cool theme. :!!!:

I have decided to play on Easy just so I can focus on Social, Sneak and Science skills rather than investing in Combat.

EDIT:
It's so good! There's just so much awesome world building, environment designs, well designed advertisements and Anatomy diagrams of enemies in loading screens. Videogames are great.

Ugh, I'm trying to hold off on Outer Worlds. I was planning on playing Death Stranding next, but I am way more excited/interested in Outer Worlds now.
