My Reverb saved search for "acoustic sex fetus" has never returned any results. Hopefully someday I will get that email.

My Bass VI's neck is really not handling the pressure, so I think I'm going to slap a lighter set of strings and have it as a baritone.

I've got my bass VI strung like that in A-A and I enjoy it a lot more than I did as in E-E which to me is the worst of both worlds.

Does anyone know which boost the Life Pedal is in the EQD lineup? It sounds insane but the RAT side sounds better on my bass board.

I’m willing to guess that it’s Bows at full frequency.BoatRich wrote:Does anyone know which boost the Life Pedal is in the EQD lineup? It sounds insane but the RAT side sounds better on my bass board.

The Disaster Area people are pretty responsive and their stuff is pretty flexible so it might be worth sending them a message.Dowi wrote:I'm sure i saw a thing that can do this but i don't remember where or what it was.
Not sure if I really want it, but I'm curious to know if there's a way to have a simple controller to send the same tap tempo to this devices: Red Panda Particle 2, Red Panda Tensor (MIDI through USB, remote switch through standard jack), DOD Rubberneck ( remote switch through standard jack) and Dr. Scientist The Atmosphere (MIDI through 5pin DIN jack).
Any ideas?

Also, I'm starting to look for a synth but I don't want to start a dedicated thread for this, so just throw me some suggestions thanks!
Looking for:
Super-cheap
3 octaves keyboard (or at least 2.5)
Polyphonic
No need for arpeggiators
I just want to throw it in some pedals for occasional jamming, nothing too fancy.
Minilogue sounds like the obvious choice but I want to know if there's something else out there (maybe cheaper?) .

Yamaha Reface CS?
Looks tiny but the keys on the organ Reface are nicer than the ones on the Minilogue.

Strong “whatever”:
https://www.engadget.com/amp/2020/01/23 ... vens-line/
Hipster party sound and light. I dunno, maybe a cheap stage/dj light solution in it, but meh.
Most interesting to me is the $30 cajon that IKEA designed on its own for the collection.

I think this fits the bill, Dowi. I was interested when it came out but thought it was too expensive, but the prices have gone down significantly since then, so I'm revisiting demos. I had thought the looper worked at the audio stage, but apparently it loops the MIDI input, so you can use it like a step sequencer and play with knobs while a phrase is looping, which I think is cool. I wonder how the aux in works.jirodreamsofdank wrote:Yamaha Reface CS?

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Thanks folks, just looked to some demos and this might actually be a good choice. Too bad it doesn't have a memory for presets, but all the knobs are there and really easy to dial, so it's interesting for my purpose anyway.friendship wrote:I think this fits the bill, Dowi. I checked the manual and the aux in is just a line in that get mixed with the Yamaha sound, I guess if you want to play along some tracks you can plug in a track backup and hear both through the CS integrated speakers.

How much does flipability figure into ya'll's pedal purchases? I didn't think much about it but the last pedal I bought one of my mental arguments was "if I don't like it it's an ez flip" and I don't know how I feel about that.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
i don't go for flip-for-profit stuff coz the margins are too terrible on ebay/reverb. getting a quick sale on facebook marketplace/certain site classifieds means breaking even at best. selling gear is such a headache anyway. but i do tend to consider resale-ability if i'm taking a chance on something, to recoup as much as possible. the main thing is to try and not be so desperate as to overpay for stuffInconuucl wrote:How much does flipability figure into ya'll's pedal purchases?
