I'm sure i saw a thing that can do this but i don't remember where or what it was.
Not sure if I really want it, but I'm curious to know if there's a way to have a simple controller to send the same tap tempo to this devices: Red Panda Particle 2, Red Panda Tensor (MIDI through USB, remote switch through standard jack), DOD Rubberneck ( remote switch through standard jack) and Dr. Scientist The Atmosphere (MIDI through 5pin DIN jack).
Any ideas?

Also, I'm starting to look for a synth but I don't want to start a dedicated thread for this, so just throw me some suggestions thanks!

Super-cheap
3 octaves keyboard (or at least 2.5)
Polyphonic
No need for arpeggiators

I just want to throw it in some pedals for occasional jamming, nothing too fancy.
Minilogue sounds like the obvious choice but I want to know if there's something else out there (maybe cheaper?) .

I had thought the looper worked at the audio stage, but apparently it loops the MIDI input, so you can use it like a step sequencer and play with knobs while a phrase is looping, which I think is cool. I wonder how the aux in works.

Thanks folks, just looked to some demos and this might actually be a good choice. Too bad it doesn't have a memory for presets, but all the knobs are there and really easy to dial, so it's interesting for my purpose anyway.


I checked the manual and the aux in is just a line in that get mixed with the Yamaha sound, I guess if you want to play along some tracks you can plug in a track backup and hear both through the CS integrated speakers.

How much does flipability figure into ya'll's pedal purchases? I didn't think much about it but the last pedal I bought one of my mental arguments was "if I don't like it it's an ez flip" and I don't know how I feel about that.

i don't go for flip-for-profit stuff coz the margins are too terrible on ebay/reverb. getting a quick sale on facebook marketplace/certain site classifieds means breaking even at best. selling gear is such a headache anyway. but i do tend to consider resale-ability if i'm taking a chance on something, to recoup as much as possible. the main thing is to try and not be so desperate as to overpay for stuff
