lol. not going to lie. you're one of the main reasons i want one again.

i should NOT have watched this -

super enjoying the Arpitechtal, and that made me shuffle stuff so i ended up with this -

Image

going to put the Kemmererrr Beat Repeat where the Voltares are, shootout if i like the Monsoon or Beat Repeat better. kinnnnnnd of curious about the Beat Repeat firmware ON the Monsoon. might try that at some point.

but yeah. the Metron is AMAZING. the random and ratchets are sexy times for building beats. but the Riot has and always will be somewhat of a mystery to me. so it should be a good compliment for the more programmy Metron.

and, i always loved having different beat hits and the gate for synth VCAs tied to each other the last two times i had a Triggles.

That video is hot fire. Arpitecht is definitely a top module and I would be melodically lost without it.

Your 12u looks like a super powerful Decepticon which transforms into waveforms and burns down the city. Of course, I'll keep my eye / ear out for clips of that system in action!

I think this is where I'll start for drumbox.

My fuckin' Pico DSP is sort of busted. The LED is out and I think it's stuck in mode 1. Can't decide if I'll replace it with another DSP or perhaps a Pico BBD? /scratches chin

Also not 100% sure Just Friends will remain. I am a n00b at it and will explore further.

No modular in this post, but I’ve been gassing hard for a Deckard’s Dream recently, meanwhile I actually can afford a Audiothingies Micromonsta. Gonna pick up a used Micromonsta locally tomorrow. Excited to (finally) have a stand-alone MPE synth to use with my Linnstrument, been wanting one for long time.
I've been searchin' for the dolphins in the sea.

Dang, hefty for a single voice. I'm sure it sound killer but the polyphony is really what makes that architecture special. I've had the fortune of playing a CS-60 and while it's not particularly "fat" I could just listen to a chord being modulated for hours on that thing.

Whoa, that Chainsaw jam looks rad. Not for me but rad nonetheless. WTF is the thing in the lower right, the touchplate thing, in this Chainsaw demo?

MrNovember wrote:So I haven't actually synth'd in awhile, but I've been thinking about my workflow and what I want to be able to do with it lately. Mainly concluded that I still really want to get my hands on a Zadar and X-Pan, but also decided that I'm probably going to get rid of my Planar 2. I just haven't used it as much as I thought I would. I would probably keep it if I had a bigger setup, but it just doesn't make sense in my 4U. Probably going to swap it with some in rack effects. I'm fairly interested in the upcoming Xaoc Timiszoara.

Anyone with a Zadar or X-Pan want to trade for a Planar 2?
Already changed my mind on this a bit. Decided instead of the X-Pan and some more in rack effects, I want an Xaoc Praga.

Going for the following with a Chase Bliss Mood in the Pedal I/O and an EQD Avalanche Run after the Audio I/O. Also, running some combination of Mono Station, DX7, Ether, and/or Digitakt into the Audio I/O and Ears. Should make for some great ambient drones and sample mangling.

also, as much as i love NoiseEng, the octave switcher from WMD looks way more my jam. so have a WMD Volt on it's way.

jebus. i have a LOT of WMD in my system now. happy TIMES.
