I keep considering selling my GK for one of these, the built in dirt sounds great and I love having a blend.
What GK are you using? Oddly enough, I went to the shop to look at a cheap GK Backline 600 I had seen a week prior. While moving some other piece of equipment off the top of the GK, I noticed the OB-1 right next to it, and instantly forgot about the GK lol. It was already in a rack case and they were only asking $400. Was a no brainer, IMO.

A few weeks ago I received this funky unit. I already had a Rocktron Banshee Talkbox a few years ago, but I had to sell it to fund other stuff. This one was pretty cheap, so I bought it rightaway when I saw the ad. I used it live on stage at a jam on Halloween and the people loved it. I used a bass and an octaver in front of the talkbox and the result was great. I was asked for a solo demonstration after the improvised song. It was a funny evening.

I have an 800rb and it’s fucking incredible. Definitely a lot cleaner than the Orange, but it gets SVT type growl with the boost cranked. I love GK’s EQ mostly. Low at 80 hz, low mid at 250 hz, high mid at 750 hz, and treble at 2.5k. 800rb+a Sansamp has been my bass tone for a while though and something new might be fun.

Ooo I've seen people sound so great with those. High on my list if I ever get into a gigging band on bass and need a solid amp

Came into a bit of money recently, but couldn't think of a single thing I wanted.

Last night I remembered that someone on a UK forum I frequent had been selling something I'd liked the look of but hadn't got the cash for, and the flanger thread reminded me that I don't have a flanger.

So next week a Dwarfcraft Happiness and a Dreadbox Komorebi will be arriving. :)

Succumbed to the Early Black Friday bug and snagged a deeply-discounted DOD Mini Expression pedal via an Amazon flash sale and Way Huge Conquistador thru Reverb. Hoping larger Sterlite plastic cabinets will also be on sale soon to contain the excess.

Got a Hologram Electronic’s Dream Sequence for $245 on Reverb. There are some good deals right now for them used if anyone else is curious.
