Because of the pandemic a lot of us are gonna be isolated for a while, and probably have more time to listen to music (or, at least, i have), so we put all of our albums on free/name-your-price download on bandcamp to cheer you up with odd time signatures during this hard times:

Out now on Bandcamp!

http://joelgilardini.bandcamp.com/album/for-a-void-room

"For A Void Room" was recorded live at EXIL (Zurich/CH), during Montags 798 (16 March 2020), where I played as usual in support for Nik Bärtsch's Ronin.
Unusual about this evening was that no crowd was attending the concert: due to the #covıd19 pandemic the club cancelled its full schedule of concerts and parties until end of April 2020.
But Ronin and I decided anyhow to play the Montags concert with closed doors, and the concert was live streamed on the internet.

It was strange but exiting to play in such a context, I knew people were watching the evening on their computers, but nobody was there, but Ronins and the technicians involved in the evening, and for the first part my first set I was playing in this void room alone.

After listening to the recording, I've decided to share these in their full length here with everybody, just name your price, if you want to.

Take care and stay safe!

:I'm halfway of the first track and it sounds amazing, i like how wide and open are the ambients - if this sentence makes any sense to you.
Are those bell-like sounds that come in at 7:00 sampled on the digitakt?

Thank you a lot Dowi! yes those bell sounds are coming from the digitakt.
First and second track make together the first set. I had to split it because the file was to big to be uploaded on my bandcamp.

Fun fact: the title of the third track, I was almost fading out to finish the set, when the light technician came to me "there are still 60 people looking the streaming, go on!" :!!!:

Thanks for this album, it's great !
Even if it was without an audience and that must have been strange, I'm glad I can listen to it now :)

Thank you! I didn't edit this, so that' really what happened from A to Z that night, flaws included!
Yes it was really a strange and exciting experience, it felt almost like when I do play at home, but wasn't home... yes it was strange indeed!

So d.o.s. and I have a band. And we're making some Proper Studio (bedroom) Recorded Music at the moment. But a while ago we got together and jammed and recorded this in a rehearsal room. Maybe in the virus times people have time to listen to a 30 minute lo fi psych jam
