I also picked up a Life Pedal and it’s really fucking cool. It does tighter thrash and hardcore tones just as well as sludgy doom and the blendable octave is seriously the coolest shit. Not sure if the boost is tight enough to stop me from using a TS type pedal, but it’s good enough to be always on.

That EQD life pedal looks better than the more limited ones to me. Seems super cool.

Also got a eqd life pedal today. I had the first version so it's nice to have a smaller one. The octave exp is fun.

Affirm sent me an e-mail advertising 18 months 0% interest and my finger got twitchy looking at a Matriarch listing but good sense prevailed.
For now.

Found an Organ Drone for a more than fair price, so that's another addition to my Mid-fi collection. Also found an Ovation VXT Standard hella cheap on GC site.

I’ve got an organelle on the way. Started off 2020 buying two synths, as I’ve gotten a bit bored with guitar lately.

I am partial to angled and weird enclosures even if they make a pedalboard situation into a nightmare. I was pretty close to snagging the OG life pedal, but I have a mojo Rat and, I dunno, boost and octavia could be supplemented if I wanted.

Yes. I said 'more limited' because there are fewer of the weird enclosure ones. This was probably not the clearest way of writing that sentence

Nice! The completist in me has a lackadaisical eye out for one. But for a fair price. There is one on Reverb right now for $315... and that's just not going to happen. I'm not paying a cent more than what it retailed for, let alone nearly $100 more. I'm not 'outraged' per say but WTF this wasn't even a #hypepedal.

Yeah, I saw that one shortly before finding this one and saw another somewhere recently for like $250, I dunno who (if anyone) is paying that for them, but I figured this one was way less than those and there's only a handful out there, so had to jump on it. What I'm actually going to use it for, I dunno, guess I'll find out!

Can I ask what you paid for yours? The reason I'm asking is because, perhaps I'm wrong and may have to suck it up for an 'above initial retail price'.
I had a more detailed rant elsewhere but the long and short of it is... again, this was never a hype pedal. Yes it is discontinued but... it was discontinued for a reason, you know? People weren't getting them and if I remember correctly, they were a pain in the dickhole to make. So while technically a "DISCONTINUED PEDAL" there are only maybe 5 people out there who want one. And 1 of them is me, and 1 of them just got one (that would be you  ). This is not an outrageous "flip" per say but it's annoying. And reiterating, this is just the completist in me that wants one because I love Mid-Fi stuff. I probably would not use it that often.
