Preordered a Pittsburgh Voltage Lab, the module version. They said in a live chat that they'll be shipping to retailers in the next week or two so I'm crossing my fingers that Perfect Circuit gets enough to cover.

First day but I feel bad for Ampeg that this line bombed so hard - the 5W sounds great with the stock 10" speaker, the half power switch seems to make it too dark and muddy but then I ran that into a 2x12 I haven't sold w/ new-production Fanes and it sounds great. It does what I liked about the big Ampeg - it stays clean but without the piercing qualities of a Fender.
I still have one from a few years ago, the GVT15 though. Good head, especially for the money!

Never tried those compact fixed lenses, but they always fascinated me for the portability, please report how do you like it (I have a fuji xt series as well, but always used it with zoom lenses)

Yeah, I could have gone a lot harder on the video card, but learned along the way that it's not necessary for what I'm doing (I don't do gaming at all really), and this thing is pretty dope. No RGB and it only uses PCIx8 in a x16 slot, so it will be a power saver. The core clock is faster than most of the $500 beast cards, because it's got the new hotness DDR6 ram. I don't need crossfire, so I want to use my 2 remaining PCI slots for a video capture card and a TV tuner card (preferably a quad channel one that lets you watch and DVR 4 channels at once).

This is my first prime lens, and it was one of the things I was really afraid of. But 23mm f2 seems to be a good lens for me.

Portability was the reason I also got it, it was between this and a Ricoh GR III, but I kept reading about dust issues nightmares on all Ricoh GRs.

And even though I cannot put this X100t on my back pocket, it is a relieve for me since I used to shoot with gigantic Nikons DSLRs and Canon SLRs before.
I went today for some street photography and I've never feel this confident on the streets since I started with photography like 15 years ago. Also the focus is damn fast, which is a gift for this kind of situations

But the things I'm more impressed by is the Image Quality, the whole Fuji colors joke is actually true! I was out of the loop on photography for the past few years, so when I started to read about modern stuff I was amazed by the whole X and XT series, and yup, it's exactly what I was expecting to be.

Which one do you have? And which one should I buy next?

In a nutshell, I'm impressed. I bought the box locally from someone who had just picked up a vintage Ampeg B15...so from the get, I plugged it in with his settings since I knew he did a side by side after getting the B15 (he also included a Broughton P15 in the comparison, I have a P15 as well). Out of the gate, it sounds pretty fantastic. If I had to compare the satisfaction, I'd put it at the Ictineo level...hard to get a bad sound from it and beefy AF.

I have a board of all preamps with the concept being I toggle between amps from that board instead of buying 15 different amps. It isn't the perfect true experience, but it is good enough for me. Like I said, I have a P15...which I don't use often at home, but is my go-to when I jam with others or record. I had poked the interwebs asking about boxes to check out and this one was the resounding answer so when one appeared close enough to my GO price I went for it, and glad I did. At the moment, I'm primarily running a blended signal of P15 and a Broughton Studio One (which is also feeding into the P15). Putting the Barber in the chain really does give me B15 squared. It beefs up the beef. I ran some side by side tests with the P15 and the Barber is pretty spot on, but more solid state/smooth-slick sounding vs the P15 which is a bit more inconsistent and raw sounding. I don't have a B15 so can't say which is closer, but the Barber is more like a B15 plugin if the P15 is more like a natural recreation.

Side jacks are annoying, but these can be had as low as $80 (I snagged it at $85 in hand) and at that price, it is beyond worth it. It does it's thing SO well and is one of those secret sauce tone boxes...but yeah, only you will notice the sweetness.

scored a BAX BANGEETAR preamp/cabsim on ebay. curious as to just how good it sounds over DI but Wata has used them so it must bring the heavies at least a little bit.
