I suppose this is where I'd post it, but my laptop, after 10 years of faithful service and Frankenstein fixes, is about to shit the bed. My current laptop has crashed playing Bimding of Isaac, amd I miss playing other games in my Steam library. I'd like to get a laptop I can game on, it doesn't need to be crazy high specs, only real requirement is something that isn't covered in lights and shit. Any advice? I really don't know anything about this stuff.

The Atari ST version of "The Secret Of Monkey Island" had totally messed up music. My (13 yo) son shows how it might have sounded like if someone had put more effort into this conversion:

Don't know the original music but this sounds great! Consistently impressed with your son's videos! :thumb:

I had a friend with that game and we always had to ask his parents for answers to the trivia age check at the beginning.

Mount & Blade 2 is just as janky as the original. It's like a more refined version.
I'm definitely gonna cheat to get more skill points 'cause fuck molasses-walking around a battlefield while doing zero damage per sword swing.

I am really enjoying Hyper Light Drifter. I just beat the 3rd boss and started exploring the south area. I cannot find keys at all, though. I think I have three of them. I'm finding tons of secret paths, but none of them seem to hide any keys. The soundtrack is phenomenal; I've been inspired enough by it that I've actually put down the game to go mess around with some synths.

Hey all, I have been soooo out of the loop in regards to video games, over the past 10 years I've only played Star Wars Galaxy emulator, GBA Fire Emblems and SNES stuff. So I have a question.

I honestly thought FF7r was gonna he a ps5 release title lol but I'm really wanting to play it as ff7 was one of the highlights of my youth. Here's my question:
How dependent is ps4 (ff7r specifically) on having regular Internet access? It this something I can take my console to my in-laws or some thing and update the installments or do I really need to be able to have the ps4 pretty much always connected in order to make it through the game?

Also, because I'm daft/dense, I don't have the slightest clue as to how much the game may have changed as far as the modern real time content. I remember getting pokemon white/black for my wife and I to play only to realize like nearly 20% of the game was based on real time events that were over/obsolete, how much of a game like ff7r is self contained? Am I going to miss out on content if I were to wait until all of the installments are released?

I think I found about 5 keys in my game, not that many. I think there are a LOT of secret areas, plus remembering to backtrack to previous places now you have enough keys/segments.

I spent ten hours completing the last boss but I guess it might take that much time again to find all the secret stuff lol. Didn't feel worth it to me
