Walrus Audio Slö incoming. Everyone and their grandmothers is buying one, figured I'd check out for myself what the hoopla is all about.
And I have a SA Nemesis on the way too. Probably my 29th delay pedal. Just to give you an idea of the chance of me NOT flipping it soon

Outgoing: a Sterling Silo 20 that I restored and a Moog Subharmonicon
Incoming:
Got a decent deal on one of these on Reverb:

This won't be available until September, but I have the funds set aside for it and as long as I like how it feels, I will be buying it right away

Also, might buy a Randy's Revenge and an Unpleasant Surprise after the Subharmonicon goes on Sunday

Why'd you get rid of the subharmonicon?MrNovember wrote:Outgoing: a Sterling Silo 20 that I restored and a Moog Subharmonicon
Also got one of these recently. It rules! It can do a lot more than the standard hm2 death metal sound. Also the blackout finishvidret wrote:I finally caved in and bought me a throat locust

Honestly, I just really haven't used it or been able to work it into my set up. The only thing it really gave me that I didn't have with the rest of my setup was the sequencer, which was really fun to mess with, but a 4 note sequence is a little to short and it really wasn't worth having so much money wrapped up in a somewhat underwhelming sequencercantremember wrote:Why'd you get rid of the subharmonicon?MrNovember wrote:Outgoing: a Sterling Silo 20 that I restored and a Moog Subharmonicon

It is a great synth, though. I could see myself buying one again in the future; I still think a 3-tier Moog rack with a Subharmonicon, DFAM, and Mother 32 would be awesome.

The only thing extra that I get out of the SE+ over the SE is being able to set the threshold so that I don't lose notes in places on the fretboard. But that alone is worth the extra space.MrNovember wrote:Outgoing: a Sterling Silo 20 that I restored and a Moog Subharmonicon

Hmm for some reason I thought you had the dfam and mother already. The sub looks cool in a lot of the demos I've seen but yeah, I would definitely wanna pair it up with the other 2.MrNovember wrote:Honestly, I just really haven't used it or been able to work it into my set up.
