I will update once I've learned a little more - the owner has sent me a PDF with most of what I need to know on it, which will be a huge help even if it's just how to get to all the patches !

There are only four "user" patches, which can be replaced, the other 36 appear to be permanent, which might save me from getting too confused.

Had a saved search on Reverb for the longest time for a Supercollider. And for a Badascan. Never got either :( Seems like they’re more rare now that they’re not making either, and owners must like them enough to hold on to them rather than flip.

^ If you can deal with the inevitable ~6-week international shipping delay ( ) there's a Badascan for sale in Sydney

Yeah that actually renewed my interest (when it showed up on my Reverb emails) and I debated seeking out some PCBs to build myself a similar clone.

Speaking of building dual pedals (and this is totally the wrong thread for it) has anyone built a dual Klone + Muff pedal?

My brother sent me a Portastudio 424 his neighbor gave him - his choice of packing material was a bunch of empty La Croix cans. Can't imagine what USPS thought they were transporting but it seems to have worked as well as bubble wrap.

LOL, that's awesome! Never heard of that packing method before. I had a 424 but it took a fall and broke the tape drive mechanism. Gave it to a buddy to use as a mixer, as I have two working 4-tracks.

A few recent used buys: AKAI AEM75 mic with optional built-in weird, metallic echo/reverb (runs off one AA battery); 17" Zildjian K Custom Fast Crash; 10" Meinl Byzance Dark Splash.

Took a gamble on some Drum Nutz instead of regular wingnuts, they fit both 8 and 6mm stands (which mine are). I think they're supposed to be attached to the cymbal itself but I like 'em this way. Also got a Tama die-cast hoop and tension rods for my 13" tom (Remo Diplomat reso head incoming).

I'm taking a week off work, and I plan to empty some cans - any requests? Free shipping in NA

Just layers of cans filling the box some crushed and some un-, with a 424 in a trashbag nestled in the middle. I asked him if it was a joke... nope, just the only thing on hand.

I'm lucky he doesn't like beer, probably. Bottles of Jack wouldn't be feasible packing from a weight perspective.

There are new ones on the website at least, in the smaller enclosure, but no EU shipping. With this guy I actually messaged him and asked if he could ship to Sweden and he said yes. https://reverb.com/se/item/34823148-ear ... lider-fuzz

Someone shipped a 1978 P bass to me wrapped in a bin bag and a little bit of cardboard with a plastic flowerpot over the headstock (no gigbag or case).

As it was a P bass it arrived looking pretty good, considering.

This is why I need to remember to ask how they’re shipping instruments before buying.
