I doubt it, Never. The FL-01 has KORG KLM-*** circuit boards (this Yamaha pedal series was developed by KORG). The FL-01 is the same as the KORG FLG-1, which I have. The other series that you have in mind is a completely different one by Yamaha (I don't know if they also developed those circuits, though). A quick Google picture search tells me that the other models have other circuits based on the MN3207 (FL-10M and FL-10MII) or MN3208 (FL-100). A difference in sound is very likely, especially the FL-100 with its 2048-stage BBD might get closer to the chorus territory.

Obviously a declining discount the more you spend, but I find it’s nice for getting a deal on accessories. I think you can get on the list for that one through their monthly contest.
