It's a rehoused Ibanez Fuzz Wau and it's heavier than the heavy metal could ever be...qersty wrote:Zork your board is sick! Is that a cone of an ibanez standard fuzz?
No, the octoplus doesn't bleed. I like it more than my trusty OC-2. These things are dirt cheap and everyone should have one.
Thank you guys!

I've been wanting to try a standard fuzz ever since UC had one of those OG ones. Looks really dope dude.
Ironically I like to use the HM-2 on really low gain settings mainly. One of my all-time favorite pedals

Standard Fuzz sounds rad, but the Ibanez I had was pretty limited in terms of variety. It does one trick really, really well, but that's about it. If I remember correctly it was battery only as well, and you know... 9Vs in Norway can get expensive.

They sure can!
Yeah the octoplus is a good one. Wasn't using much so sold it but it was great fun for yearsZork wrote:It's a rehoused Ibanez Fuzz Wau and it's heavier than the heavy metal could ever be...qersty wrote:Zork your board is sick! Is that a cone of an ibanez standard fuzz?

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Just put this together...

Bright Onion utility box (A/B inputs, buffer, loop etc) -> Kowloon Walled Bunny clone/Treble Boost in one box -> Harmonic Percolator -> Micro Amp clone -> TC Flashback 2 X4 -> Alexander SpaceXpander -> Radial ABY
Side A goes to a Rockerverb 100 MKIII, B through the Boxidizer into a power amp.
My gain pedals are in the loop of the Bright Onion box so I can turn them all off at once if I need to.
The TC Helicon X1 is a vocal distortion pedal

You are a good man. HM-2 with gain in the range of 07:00h to 09:00h produces the best and most dynamic sounds.fcknoise wrote:Ironically I like to use the HM-2 on really low gain settings mainly. One of my all-time favorite pedals

In agreement! Dynamic is really the word there. I find that with a low output pickup the pick attack goes from almost entirely clean to nice and fuzzy in like, the best wayPepe wrote:You are a good man. Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Low gain HM-2 is the way.
I've been wanting to rehouse mine with only an on/off switch and a volume knob, with the gain fixed at nothing, full bass and treble at like 2:00.

Making some changes to the Bleep Bloop board. Pladask Elektrisk - Matrise is arriving today...then I need to figure out how I want to wire this thing up and what to do about not having enough power underneath. I doubt this will stay this way, but the possibilities with this setup get me kind of excited.
