The thing was that there's currently someone on Reverb with a reVOLVER DX who's asking £800 (just over $1,000), whereas I offered the seller of the reVOLVER II £250 ($327) which was a little under what he was asking for and he accepted.

I don't know enough about them to know what the difference between the DX and the II is, but they look pretty similar ;) and the II was 1/4 of the price, so I reckon I didn't do too badly.

T II is really nice imo - I still want one, even though I've used a DX :thumb:

Shipping may kill it for ya, but if it's finding that's an issue - I saw 'em in stock at Vintage King this afternoon....

Also, a somewhat overpriced one on Reverb (but only because of the high shipping fee) https://reverb.com/item/35347259-vongon ... board-2020

'tis a great sounding pedal

Got a Mellotron M4000D Mini. Was super pumped to play it. But it wouldn’t start up. The screen said CF card failure contact Mellotron for support. Which I did. Super bummed and a little frustrated. I am going to be pissed if I have to pay to ship it to Europe to get it fixed. So so far my experience with this product sucks!

So Markus got back to me. He said he can have a new card put in for free and shipping would be free. Also that he could send a new card and with his help I can put it in myself. That if that doesn’t work I can still ship it to him for free and get it fixed. So that makes me happier about the situation. Seems like great, caring customer service. Let’s hope it works.I really hope the card doesn’t get held up in customs for months on end. It sucks I have this great instrument just going to be collecting dust for X amount of time. I guess only good things come with patience

about this one

do you run your pedalboard to that and then headphones instead of amp? or do you need a cab sim or something similar (pre-amp-y)?

I've got a cab dryVR that i'm not using at all lately, thinking this might pair with that for headphone toanz
That's at the end of the pedalboard instead of an amp. It's pretty clean so it could definitely use an amp in a box preamp or cab sim right before it. I got it mostly because my tabletop board is pretty massive and a pain to hook up to my rig, so now I can take that board to any room and pop on a pair of headphones and have some fun without disturbing the family. Also, pop it on a mini pedal board with a pedal or two that I want to play with and it's a great way to be able to experiment without having to plug everything in and also lets me take the board to anywhere in the house to play. So far, really loving it and it is doing exactly what I had hoped it would.
