Ok so, so far I like it. Keep in mind I have not used it in a normal situation through a normal amp.. I have in running through my sub side of my stereo rig through a 1x18... so.. anyway.. I LOVE the flat setting! you can here textures better. also.. the Boost works the opposite from every other pedal with a boost.. it's AFTER the fuzz.. so it's kind'a a DESTROY button.. so it might be the best pedal for doom :doom:

about this one

do you run your pedalboard to that and then headphones instead of amp? or do you need a cab sim or something similar (pre-amp-y)?

I've got a cab dryVR that i'm not using at all lately, thinking this might pair with that for headphone toanz
That's at the end of the pedalboard instead of an amp. It's pretty clean so it could definitely use an amp in a box preamp or cab sim right before it. I got it mostly because my tabletop board is pretty massive and a pain to hook up to my rig, so now I can take that board to any room and pop on a pair of headphones and have some fun without disturbing the family. Also, pop it on a mini pedal board with a pedal or two that I want to play with and it's a great way to be able to experiment without having to plug everything in and also lets me take the board to anywhere in the house to play. So far, really loving it and it is doing exactly what I had hoped it would.
It's more of a what you put in it is what you hear. It doesn't particularly sound great if I go instrument > it > headphones. It's fantastic on my bleep bloop board since I want to twist knobs and hear what the knob twists do. It's also great to use to get to know a pedal. I plan to check it out with some pre-amps before it and I think that it would need that if you really wanted to use it for a practice amp kind of thing. It was designed for pedal auditioning. The 2 headphone outs are pretty cool too

I am almost curious to AB this against my Darkglass Element, the nice thing about the element is that is has a cab sim on it so I can get away with just using the pre amp on my 300.00 budget Musicman :joy: - I really want to like Darkglass stuff but the cult-ish following and the absurd pricing kind of kills any founding love for the other pedals. However I can understand why Bass players love it - keeps all of the bottom nice and juicy.

Curious to know if you are running any pedal format pre amps? Since playing again there has to be like 50 different pedal pre amps out there - I just dont know which if any stands out above the rest.

I saw a Skychord Utopia Synth on eBay for a fair price, and I started to post about it in the "Heads Up Sweet Shit on eBay" thread. Then I deleted my post and bought it myself. There was a "make an offer" option but the price was already decent, so I just sniped it.

Update - I might have overpaid a little, I forgot about tax.

Got a Pigtronix micro Disnortion incoming that will go on the trombone board. I hope that will complete the dirt section on that one...

Hors d'Oeuvre? Active Feedback Loop from Fairfield Circuitry on the way. For easier feedback loops directly on the pedalboard.

I am pretty tempted to grab one of those and their new filter/EQ pedal

This little guy just showed up today...and I mean little! I had no idea this pedal was so tiny!

Own one myself. It’s fucking awesome! Sorry I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a very fun, interesting pedal that offers a lot of options to sculpting your sound. :thumb:

On another note... Markus at Mellotron sent me a new CF card and I installed it. Now it’s up and running and is everything I hoped for. One beautiful dream machine. I love it.
