I had one back in the day from the first release and have missed it more or less since I sold it. Finally got my hands on another courtesy of foreverbroke and very happy I did.

DIdn't the smaller enclosure ones come after the majestically huge ones? I thought they started to shrink them because folk could not fit them on their boards. I have one of the big ones and I absolutely love it:cosmicevan wrote: This one seems pretty old

That's right! from the man himself (there is a topic on the forum about them):qersty wrote:I thought it was a tweaked fuzz face (thats some other dunwich, the Conan guy uses one) but its an original design it seemshttps://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/ind ... pic=9579.0
Just received a Lightning Wave Doom - need to wrap my head round how to use it this WE...new05002 wrote:its sorta hodge-podge. I took circuit ideas and combined them like I would an amp into some kind of frankenstein thing. Essentially its kinda like my Wizard amp but a pedal version (however tone wise I am not sure how close they are but the idea of hi gain fuzz/stortion is where I am going with this). It has a 12 position FAC style control called Depth, a baxandall stack (Bass and Treble) right out of my amp along with a Master Volume, oh yea fuck tons of gain. Its got FET, JFET, BJT boosters, muff style BJT clipping stages, JFET clipping stages. Overall 7 transistors.
I think this is like a proto or a very early version. This one is numbered 00 and I got it from someone who was clearing out a collection of some relatively old pedals.Glenouille wrote:DIdn't the smaller enclosure ones come after the majestically huge ones? They're now being produced under 'Magic Pedals' by a former builder, I don't know what there actual market status is though.Jero wrote:I think he shut down not that long ago actuallyMaxMaps wrote:Is dunwich still in production? I remember these coming out, really killer gear
I think it's maybe from around 2015-2016. I did not pay much attention to all this for a good while so could be very wrong too!cosmicevan wrote: I think this is like a proto or a very early version.
