I had one of those Vaccaros. I think I bought and sold it for around $400 and I think that's what it's worth. It doesn't really do the aluminum thing. For $1000, one would be better off getting a bolt on neck from whoever and putting it on a cheap jazzmaster body.

That’s about the going rate for Kramer’s.

Kramer’s aren’t really that great imo. Wood and aluminum glued together isn’t the best idea in many climates

I can speak to this as well. For a long time, my main guitar was a custom made aluminum with a bolt on Vaccaro neck and I totally agree with this assessment.

f you live for hard rock, get a guitar made to rock hard. Kramer guitars are designed and built specifically for hard rock guitar players. They feature body design and construction, pickups, electronics and hardware for rock music. Some other guitars try to work for ALL kinds of music (country AND rock). That's impossible! Kramer does one thing and it does it well.

I had a red clear body Kramer with the Aluminum neck. The sustain was amazing but playing that in the winter was like skinny dipping in the arctic. Not that I have done the latter but the guitar was super cold and I sold it.

Some nice combo amp buys on GC today.

Yamaha T50, cheapest I've seen in quite a while, Soldano designed, sound surprisingly great clean and get super gainy as you'd expect on the drive channel. - $249

Gibson GA-15, basically a Trace Elliot Velocette but some were UK-made by TE, later ones US-made by Mojotone. Can't tell which variation this is from the single pic, but they sound killer either way. - $349

All the Super 60s for $299 a pop. Excellent cleans, gain channel is not great imo but they make great pedal/mod platforms.
