Gotcha. Definitely curious as to what this sounds like, hopefully you will post upon the return of the Doom.Glenouille wrote:I packed the Doom to send it back before I thought I should record a soundclip! Defo next time!manymanyhaha wrote: I'm interested in hearing what this sounds like!
Where does the Clock signal originate? It's not clear to me.![]()
The Mutable Instruments MIDIPal is the high resolution clock source

(That sounds awfully ominous. But in the best of ways)

yeah - new firmware + screen like on the Ghost on this pic:

Shows you the shape of the wave you have built - stores and display beats + BPM + subdivisions and more for each bank, and adds an extra bank (so 6 instead of 5).

Unless I get an email which tells me there's been a mistake (because I managed to complete the order before the restock time), I appear to have ordered and paid for, a Fabrikat.

Considering all your pedals i was wondering why it wasn't a part of your setup yetPaul_C wrote:Unless I get an email which tells me there's been a mistake (because I managed to complete the order before the restock time), I appear to have ordered and paid for, a Fabrikat.

It gives its best with a hands-on approach, so your stands will be useful.

Mostly because they're pretty hard to get hold of.Dowi wrote:Considering all your pedals i was wondering why it wasn't a part of your setup yetPaul_C wrote:Unless I get an email which tells me there's been a mistake (because I managed to complete the order before the restock time), I appear to have ordered and paid for, a Fabrikat.![]()

I tried a couple of times and then decided it wasn't worth the effort, but I have had a confirmation email from Pladask, so it might still be happening

I'm not sure it's something I need, I've got so many pedals now it's almost certain that I can already get most of the sounds from what I've got, but as I'm not likely to lose too much in getting one to try, and I have funds to spare, I might as well.
My current thought is that I will spend the next three years exploring what can be done with all the various pedals I have and what ever else I might acquire, and then sell off some or all of them and do something else. I may have already got everything I can before then, but who knows ?
I'm also thinking of cutting back on work at that point too (I'll have been running my business for 20 years by then, which is a nice round number, and I'll be 60 too, so it might not be a bad time to kick back and take it easy).

It appears to be on the way
Still got a few more on the list, plus I'm sure there are still dozens of pedals out there that I'm completely unaware of.
I've got quite a few on my "pedals I want to build which I have schematics for" list too, and I'm trying to make my mind up on a method of finishing which is:
1) relatively inexpensive
2) something that can produce fine detail if needed (for labeling switches and pots)
I'm currently leaning towards a digital vinyl cutter (Cricut Joy) which could be used to make graphics or stencils, which I could then lacquer over.
I'd rather have something here that I can tinker with than have to rely on someone else, and while etching looks cool I don't think I can be bothered with the hassle of cleaning up.

Fabrikat arrived, safe and sound. I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow, so it was a nice surprise
A discount offered on one of the pedals in my Reverb feed encouraged me to misbehave, and as a consequence a limited edition green Alexander Super Neo-matic should be on the way soon.
