I also don't "get" the Subharmonicon but that's not going to stop me from buying one.
Lastly, the ALM Coupe is hot sex but I won't buy one. I rock 4 ALM modules every day (both Taikos, a Castle, and Tangle Quartet) and will probably eventually end up with more. For example, I want to try their MUM8 filter, which filter looks sweet.
I know you're not actually looking for an explanation, but I'm going to explain my thoughts on the 0-Ctrl and Subharmonicon anyways
I basically see the 0-Ctrl as a sequencer that is a combination of two Pressure Points and Brains with a built in envelope generator. I think the main selling point for me is the time parameter per step, the pressure pads, and some of the patching options I've seen highlighted in the videos; seems like a really interesting live tool. I also really like Hainbach's description of the 0-Coast/Ctrl combo as the Make Noise Easel; I feel like that's pretty accurate. That being said, I also realized there's literally no reason for me to buy the 0-Ctrl unless I am also buying a 0-Coast; I already have a lot of sequencer options (Keystep, Keystep Pro, Matriarch, Digitakt, Model:Cycles) and very few things that would work with the 0-Ctrl (literally just Matriarch right now?). So yeah, I guess I'll be waiting on that one until I can afford the pair.
I honestly don't really "get" the Subharmonicon either. All I really know is: Moog oscillators/filter with subharmonics to form chords and a weird sequencer that makes polyrhythms (by also using subharmonics?). But, that's enough for me to know I am almost definitely buying one because is sounds awesome.
I do think that all three (Subharmonicon, 0-Ctrl, and 0-Coast) would make a really fun and interesting setup with a couple pedals
