Its a funky little shop, way more unique than your normal store. Kelly and the dudes over there have been doing their thing for a long long time, stores like theirs are a rare thing these days.

Anyone gone on an editing-down purge successfully? “I don’t use this so I don’t need it.” “This is good but not really for me.” That sort of thing? I can afford good stuff without selling stuff so that isn’t a motivator. (I’m keeping pedge mainly just to pressure myself to better learn the things I already have before getting new things, another reason to simplify.)

I want to sell almost everything I have. The only thing stopping me is profound sloth.

I don't know how things turned this way but now I have a Fabrikat incoming for the second time this year. I always felt like I needed to explore it more, plus it sounded better than any similar device.

I did almost sell my Fabrikat. On a way I like better the intuitiveness and quickness of the Bakfram, and both cover some common ground. But the Fabrikat has some specialties which the Bakfram can't do, and viceversa. So keeping both.

I have wondered about this a lot. I have a Fabrikat and love it, and the Bakfram does seem to have some unique features. Just not sure there is enough to warrant me having both. What do you like best about Bakfram that Fabrikat can’t do?

I thought I was in a similar spot, so I pulled out some pedals I hadn’t been using to run thru them and see whether they were dispensible or not and ended up writing the beginnings of three songs with 2 of the 3 pedals I tried, so they’re going to stay for now.
