You know after considering NAMM 2021 as an idea.. unless NS comes out with a NXT or WAVE fretted omni bass [you know something not $3800+] 2021 can fuck it's self gear wise...

I'm really looking forward to this one though didn't really find much use out of the EQD Arpanoid like I thought I might. But this looks potentially like a lot of fun.
from the demos this seems like it could be just the thing i'm looking for to use on my front-end board...i was thinking that i needed a "signal degradation device." i am exceedingly curious to see a fuller demo, and this better not be a 100 Units For The Flipper Market thing.

Korg dropped 3 synths on Sunday night---the (40% smaller) 2600, Modwave (wavetable), and a limited reissue of the 70s MiniKORG (FS). I'm guessing the MiniKORG will continue later as a smaller version. I find that choice really bizarre. I'm curious to see if the Modwave can really stand out, considering the recent wave of digital poly units.

Wow! That's really great. I have the bigger brother 800DV, which is like two MiniKORG 700S synthesizers in one housing, so I won't need this cool reissue. I like that they added a joystick, an arpeggiator and aftertouch. Spring reverb is also a nice new feature.

Not so much a product unveiling, but I'm just really excited for MIDI 2.0, as the original midi protocol is a real bottleneck in music design, I can only imagine the crazy shit that'll come out of this.

I have the DW-8000 (and my son has the DW-6000). The sound can indeed be very fat with the original units already. If the filter of the modwave comes close to that of the DW synths, it will sound great.
