Biden wants to take all all of my tax benefits as a property owner. Even 10301 exchanges, which is absolute bullshit. I hated trump bit but does Biden have to fuck the small guys like me too! It’s not fair man. If he passes these bills he’s talking about, well, I guess I’ll just sell the rest (unless they take them away from me) and never retire. I was trying to build something man and I have never done anyone’s wrong but I’ve been done wrong over and over and over. Yet somehow I’m a villain because I offer a place to rent and someone wants to rent it. None of my tenants are people who want to own houses right now. Sometimes people stay a few years or more and then buy a home and move on. That’s pretty typical. Or sometimes if you don’t up the shit out of rents, you people who are long term renters for whatever reason. If huh treat people with respect do you not deserve it back? Do I deserve to lose the tax benefits like depreciation because someone else is evil and exploiting it? My income will go down during Biden’s Presidency if he passes the bills he’s talked about. Which hurts my family. I’ll survive but some of types of benefits are the only that make doing this worth it. It’s controlling American business. Guess that’s what people what with all the Maxism I’ve been seeing. Hey can someone name a country that communism has worked? Liked actually worked.
I’m sorry I have to rant. Fuck this two party system and fuck people who don’t believe in American business. You assholes are fucking hypocrites and you know it. If the shoe was one the other foot you’d be making money through capitalism also.

Writing off depreciation on real estate is quite questionable, given the propensity for real estate to increase in value over time in the US. The only things I've seen Biden talking about doing are mild corrections to the completely imbalanced relationship between real estate investors and society at large (in any given town or city, real estate developers are the special interests pulling strings the hardest). Between the steady appreciation and wealth extraction via rents I expect landlords will be fine overall.

Yeah I think this has more to do with real estate developers than landlords, overall.
Lol
And apparently, the guy who "tased himself in the balls and died while trying to steal a painting", didn't. He still died while trying to overthrow the government in the name of a former reality show host and failed steak salesman, so we can still lol at him.

The "idiot or grifter" conundrum. More than a handful of Republicans in the secure area during the Capitol invasion outright refused to wear masks - they're not just getting one over on the rubes, they are the rubes.
It's more disquieting to think they're true believers - but most of them seem to be.
