New year, new music!

Image

Last year on New Year's Day, started things off by meeting with some friends and making some music. This year on New Year's Day, we're releasing it. Featuring voice, clarinet, poems, synths, field recordings, cassette tape loops, pedals, etc.

Check it out here! https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/album/our-way-to-fall

And check out these tasty-lookin' tapes as well!

This record is amazing, kudos to you all HAk. I started listening to it yesterday morning on my way to the office. I really enjoy how the acoustic instruments pair with the loop processing, and the voices too! truly beautiful.

Listened to it this morning. Noise music isn't usually my thing but I got through it and there's some good stuff in here :thumb: I really got into the zone in the middle 1/3 of the album or so.

Thank you so much for listening! I guess I'm one of the local noise ambassadors now. I've had a few people tell me "I don't normally listen to noise" or "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS WHAT I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS OMG", followed by "I actually kind of liked it I think?"—so that's great, haha.

Edit: Here's a playlist of a split cassette that the album is released on: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2rNis ... q64tl7lcAA

Aw, yisss.

Helps so much that my friends, who are super-good at what they do, wanted to do this with me! (and that when I was editing the tracks I could mercilessly mute myself when required).

There's still more, too... there's another sweet long piece from the same session we didn't include, should be a side of the next tape.... now just waiting 'til we can get together and jam again.

8 tracks full of Miku-based sounds might be a bit much, so I've limited my first release of 2021 to 5 tracks :)

I was trying out patches on the ZOIA tonight and accidentally invented the new genre of noise harpsichord.

Five more Miku-centric tracks, this time with Fabrikat and Hedra and a bit of Rattle Crow.

First track of 2021 for me. Threw a bunch of guitar and synth loops into Renoise and had some fun with that.

https://cscd.bandcamp.com/track/aetherchord
Cyborg See Cyborg Do (ambient, drone, soundtrack-style)

Sandbite (electronic noisepop/shoegaze/whatever)

CHERNØBØG (industrial techno, rhythmic noise and stuff)
