from your description the Tentacle sounds like a less abrasive, more controllable alternative to the LAL 46. i haven't heard it, but i'll look for it over in Demostan.

[Obsessive-compulsively tweaked to obsessive-compulsively match the number of syllables on each line in order to obsessive-compulsively make a slight improvement in the cadence.
"it puts the 'mallow on its skin" fits the original scansion, and i think it's acceptable in quasi-poetry as an archaicism similar to "e'en."

Received my Zoom H8 ! :joy:
This works so much better than the dr-05 I have. For one thing I can actually use other mics or plug straight in and not just use the onboard mic. The fx seems good from what I've seen so far. The touch screen is not bad at all and the flow is good too.

Now I should receive a senheiser e609 tomorrow or the day after, that way I can record guitars with it instead of the xy built in mic.

It's my go-to amp microphone for three years or so. It's good, but a bit noisy. I use a noise suppressor in the effects loop of my mixer to get rid of it.

the ROYGBIV is so noisy, engaged or not, that it sounds like a hive of aluminum bees. i'm really bummed. no matter what power supply i use, it's fucked up. i'm gonna have to open it up and see if there's anything obvious.

Thanks for the tip :) I am really stoked about the H8, been using it for a few hours and I really like it so far. Also using a sax microphone for vocal ideas (I have nothing else). Throw some reverb and delay in there and you can't tell

OK, i'm part way to solving the Mystery From Jupiter. it stops buzzing and clicking when and only when you have cables plugged into both the Effect Out *and* the Dry Out. now, splitting the two to separate outputs is fine and all if your rig is stereo; mine is not. so WTF? should i get a 1-to-2 1/4" splitter adapter and sum them to mono, leave a dummy plug in the dry output, use a TRS cable out of the Bivvy's EFFECT OUT, or what? and why is there effected signal in the Dry Out? or should i run a stereo signal from BivMo through the Muza and then the Flashback which both have stereo in/out and just take a mono signal out of the Flashback to the volume/wah/tuner and then to the main board. help me, Wonder Woman! i has a confuzzle.

Aside from just random gas I got some time in this weekend to play and I have to say I am still really enjoying the board. I was originally going to look at other compressor delay situation but I really do enjoy this Dispatch Master a lot - great sounds, sounds good on the low end and does what I want it to do. The only thing is wanting more features but I can wait. The little stax looper is cute but next to the modest RC1 however there is a big difference in quality between the two. I am gonna keep him on the board for now while I wait for the sexy stomping stones virus finishes to come out.

The marshmallow gas has not gone away just so you know ....

i have the second Ditto x2 looper coming, along with a buffered 1-into-4 splitter to split the incoming signal from the limiter to the two loopers. all i need now is the LM-2 and the actual board frame and hard case. cats shred soft cases when they get bored...Lulu destroyed the one that came with the board so i have to find an equipment case for the front-end board that's about 13 or 14×19" to fit an old 12.5×17" Pedaltrain Jr. with room for cables to protrude beyond the actual footprint and to stow accessories (cables, a surge-protected outlet strip, and maybe a volume or expression pedal stored sideways above the top edge of the board) which also ideally has to be deep enough to fit a board with a Moog expression pedal velcroed to it i.e. 6 or 7" deep. not exactly a Man From U.N.C.L.E. attaché case, but not a Fender Super Reverb, either.

Really the only reason I never grabbed them is because I'm quite happy with my pedalboard and I don't actually know where I'd put them. I didn't realize Idles used the Organizer on their latest release, but I do know they're a big fan of the Data Corruptor; they use that thing everywhere.

You could probably cop your solo sounds from a Spatial Delivery.

Also, I am a huge fan of the Dispatch Master. I would honestly rather have two of them in stereo that an Avalanche Run, but that wouldn't have tap tempo like the Avalanche Run.

You really can't go wrong with EQD, they just make solid pedals
I've been eyeballing a Spatial Delivery for a minute actually. Mostly for auto wah, didnt realize it had a fixed mode. :!!!:

I'm pretty sure turning the range knob to zero will give you a fixed mode. I'm not 100% sure now, though. Going to have to give it a shot next time I'm playing music

My GAS exploded this weekend with a bunch of new purchases of pedals, of all things.

Benson Germanium Fuzz
CBA/Meris CXM 1978
Hologram Microcosm
ZVEX Octane 3 (really wanted one when I was super into ZVEX but never tried it)

Nearly picked up a Spaceman Sputnik III, Strymon Night Sky, and I took a loooong look at the Echo Fix. Despite having a Space Echo, having 1 for my synths and 1 for my guitar chain would be tight... Alas, I am holding off on that for now lol.
I still want a new modulation pedal but I haven't found anything that has made me say WOW. I have the lofi side covered with CBA's warped vinyl (lofi and hifi) and the GenLoss collab, so I guess I'm looking more for the strange side of modulation (phase/flange/ring mod/etc.).
I think I need to look at some new companies.

I was planning on re-buying the Make Noise 0-coast and preorder the Strega but I'm going to wait a bit. Maybe.
