I've generously allowed myself the rest of the year to get my head round the ZoiaHeraclitus Akimbo wrote:I was very intrigued by the Phantom Operator when it came out but couldn't afford it at the time. I reckon I'm going to need it.
I've downloaded most of the patches which looked interesting and I like somewhere around a dozen in total, so I'm going to spend a little time sorting out a definite final folder containing everything I like before I start learning how to make my own patches.
I reckon if I can put together 20 - 30 patches that I really like then it'll be worth what I've spent on it, fewer than 20 and it'll be a bit of a disappointment.
It'll never be a total failure because the last two albums I put up on Bandcamp had it all over them - I've stopped spamming everywhere when I release an album for now because there are just too damn many of them

I made 32 albums and around 200 tracks last year and I've done 29 albums and 221 tracks already this year, which is way too much but I don't have much else to do right now and I still really like what I'm making

I often start my day listening to three or four albums as I find them relatively easy to listen to, as they don't need a lot of concentration.
