Pladask Feber coming soon if DHL doesn't fuck up. Sold the Draume but the Taken is rapidly becoming one of my favorite delays, I think I'm starting to grasp how to use the Romferd.

I couldn't resist.
Mattoverse Echo Amp - the tone is what you'd expect from a small radio...lofi AF. It doesn't handle bass that well, but sounds great with guitar and synths. It has a built in drive circuit and the clean tones are just ok...the drive gets a decent overdriven tone. The real cool part is it has a built in delay circuit and that lets you add just a touch of verb to a nice slapback delay to jam with. Runs on a 9volt...it's the ultimate in grab n go, plus I'm a bit addicted to Mattoverse's creations, especially these wooden enclosures.

It looks so pretty!
My GAS always gets bad when I have a ton of cash and I don't play a lot - Really enjoying the Tensor but now I want another delay, boost and maybe a HX stomp, oh and a 5150 dual humbucker guitar ..... and ....
Seriously though could go for an HX stomp and I am feeling un inspired by the elements basic cab choices. I am sure if I fucked around with the element a little more I could get some great sounds for my guitar - the pre amp department is where I am lacking and for some reason I am REALLY against using software. I know there are a zillon amazing plugins but I just dont wanna. ( and buttons are cool) Seeing as the HX stomp will do what I want for a fraction of the price of a Neural DSP it may be the way to go.
I am also running out of space as the maximum amount of gear I am allowed to have is 2-3 instruments ( I also have a dead acoustic and bass but that's another story), pedal board (no bigger than a PT pro) interface and laptop. I am still seriously in love with both my EVH strat and bass ..... I am just pondering if the 3rd instrument will be some sort of strat or another dual humbucker shredder.

Have you tried loading different cab sims onto the Element? Should be able to replace the stock cabs with IR files via the Suite software.MaxMaps wrote:Seriously though could go for an HX stomp and I am feeling un inspired by the elements basic cab choices. I've tried a bunch of stuff on the Cab M and IMO the Shift Line IR packs are fantastic (also free).
Worth playing around with because any IRs you like can still be loaded onto a HX Stomp or similar if you eventually go that route.

Oh.. yeah due to LIF slowdown 2021 I didn't post I bought a Conklin GT 7 to disassemble for parts and build another 7 strang
But why? isn't this an AWESOME bass? No.. they have the potential to be but the overall design is shit.
Neck - only really awesome thing about these - but stock sanding/finishing is poor and you will need to put time in for it to feel smoov
Body - huge, heavy, kind of an uncomfortable shape.. and it is still very neck heavy...
Electronics - great... but the pickup placement is off.. the bridge pickup either need to go closer to the bridge or to the neck.. same with the neck pickup..
Hardware - bridge saddles are weird in that they are MADE to use taperd or exposed core strangs [which I hate, which sound like poo after the NEW period is over... and I hate new strangs] and to fit a normal B or E strang you would need to file the saddle slots wider, tuners are ok but your average low level import quality

Craigslist score of the week(end):

Really enjoying this new cheap pedal landscape, and it's been too long. If you know what's good and what to avoid, you can build up a real powerhouse collection in no time.

^This pedal rules so hard, I have nicknamed it Tom G. Warrior. It's a very nicely repackaged Mooer Grey Faze, which is an original spec Arbiter Fuzzface. Does all the cool ripping/splatty/8bit/ILFy things when you slam it with boost/od. Amazing value even at new price, which is still next to nothing.

Mascis Tele shipped. Probably here tomorrow. That was a short wait for estimated 12-14 weeks.

Got an EHX Deluxe Sovtek Big Muff coming in next week. Actually really excited about it — so much that I tuned down to C standard for the first time in my life today and have been playing slow riffs all day

Cyborg See Cyborg Do (ambient, drone, soundtrack-style)
Sandbite (electronic noisepop/shoegaze/whatever)
CHERNØBØG (industrial techno, rhythmic noise and stuff)

Music Man 112 RD One Hundred secured from a local guy, picking it up some time in the coming days! All original w/ footswitch, looks really clean in the pictures. Might test it out, but it's described as fully working and I've been wanting a MM for a while so this is a lock. Was supposed to get a head, fuck knows I have enough 1x12 combos as is, but I would regret passing this one up.

I picked up a Simon and Patrick 12 string guitar today. Needed a bit of work to lower the action, which was a nightmare because I managed to tangle all 12 strings together, but it plays super well now!

What a CRAZY week of mail ins and outs.
Traded my 36" scale carl thompson for a shorter scale in a 3-way deal. This is the new one that's mine

Then I snagged another Cioks DC7 and traded an old Dunwich Wizard Fuzz proto for a spaceman explorer!!!

...and lastly, managed to have a quick enough internet connection to score a v2 Gen Loss
