Not exciting but keeping it metal - I got two metal zones from a craigslist guy, $40 each, one for me, one for my co-worker friend who is still pretty new to gear and guitar. Took him along for his first craigslist outing. We got two different looking pedals, his has the classic gloss finish black with orange ink, while mine is dark grey and has a matte finish, not glossy, and a more reddish orange ink.
Need a metal zone emoji

It is a special thing that's not lost on me. He's more into all of it than me now sometimes, which is definitely something new and different, especially since I pretty much showed him in...now he browses craigslist and reverb all the time, loves metal guitars like Jackson, Dean and Schecter, gets into metal youtube guys like Ola Englund and SpectreSoundStudios way before I ever notice them (glad he's over that rageaholic guy, lol). It was Ola that gave him the metal zone jones, after having already been familiarized with the HM-2 backstory, up to the present day post-hype.

Soon enough he will get around to appreciating how terrible that mz2 can sound

I wish he re-did the AC15 one but more informed. I want to hear a Rory/Blackmore vox rangemaster setup chug

I'm going to sell the Noise Gate again (don't need it) and the awesome Tone Booster as well, because at the moment I have two of these.
I have the CMP-1, more or less sounds like a Dyna Comp to my ears, guessing it's similar inside. Sounds killer for fat and squishy country sounds, but I hate the janky, seemingly unfixable footswitch. Got it for like $15 at Guitar Center in Knoxville a few years back, though, so can't really complain. :idk:

Curious about that Tone Booster, is it like a clean boost type thing or a drive? Looks cool as hell!

Open it up, unscrew the switch and treat the open contacts with tuner spray*. Done. My LIM-1 had the same problem.

Here is my demo video of the TNB-1. Overall it is a clean boost with LOTS of headroom, but in maximum gain position it has a gnarly overdrive that has become a standard distortion sound of some Japanese guitarists. It fetches quite high prices in Japan.

*Tuner spray is also my go-to spray for scratchy potentiometers. The success rate is at about 98%. The few other potentiometers needed to be opened to remove goop (plus tuner spray treatment), or to be replaced.

I couldn't resist the discounted Red Panda stuff. It never gets discounted and the used prices very rarely fluctuate outside of a few bucks. I spent some time trying to get my head around it. It's pretty wild...does the reverse thing just as good if not better than the particle. I got really lost in playing in some of the more traditional sounds so need a lot more exploring but it's a pretty wild pedal that does quite a bit. I might be more into this one than the particle. More time needed.

Where do I have to sign?

I am mostly interested in the freq shifting thing and the ability of having a single set pitch or freq shift without it being fed back to the shifting again.
It's perfect to be integrated in my ringmoddish loops, can't wait to pair it with Feber.
Definitely gomma purchase it as soon as ILFSS is done.

Anyone in the US order shit from Japan on eBay, and do you get hit with customs? I want a Boss SE-70 so bad but the Reverb prices are dumb and stupid.
