i definitely enjoyed it - not sure i have any new ideas for cabs that'd serve better than what i have - maybe a bit more settled into enjoying/accepting what i hear as a good thing and just rolling
and, yeah, i'm sure mic distance is also a variable that matters - and would have exploded the already insane amount of work into ultra-giga levels that would have broken even his titanic resolve

To follow up to my own post, Trogotronic still sells an Iron Cross switcher, and another switcher unit "C36" which has a control wheel, gate switch, push buttons etc. Looks absolutely fantastic! But premium prices.

okayso, every once in a while i get a bee in my bonnet and decide i really really need a Wyllie Moon Rock and then i remember the Cozybuilder/Dead End fx Moonstone so i search for that instead and on this morning's search this came up.... https://reverb.com/item/28906253-moonst ... koa-spruce
i don't usually cotton to acoustics that try to ape an electric, but meebe i could use something that doubles as a baleen?

My Boss HM2 seems to add a hum, and then my other dirt downstream amplifies that hum. The HM2 doesn’t hum when it’s engaged, but seems to add line noise when it’s off. What the heck? I don’t expect Boss pedals to be noisy, I don’t know why…

When I bypass the HM2 and go into the Muff there’s no more hum. Is the HM2 known to be noisy? I expected it to play nice with other pedals, but it doesn’t seem to.
I use 1Spot for power, I didn’t used to have noise issues before. But I used a battery on the Muff and it still was picking up line noise from the Hm 2. Bunch of other pedals downstream from the dirt. What should I do? Put it in the loop of an LS-2?

Oh wow, I didn’t know any of that… it’s a 90s made in Taiwan (I assume 90s, it’s an older one anyway).
