Yes, our favorite super-secret santo is gon be a dada! There's a bunch of Misfits and Wu-Tang onesies on their registry, as well as more practical stuff. Figured you folks might like to get them something! The baby shower is on the 7th but I think you can get stuff any time. Saw him yesterday, the man's doing well, boy's due in a month or so I think.

Pass the link around in PMs if you like. I'd share it more prominently on here but I don't want to alert him if possible. Let me know if you need shipping info or anything.

glad i saw whiskey and a few others pop their heads back in. I finally had some free time to do so today since i took time off from my normal shit to move someone for some cash and we got done by 11am. Worked out of town for about 3 months straight previously. celebrated my 10 year anniversary with my wife. got older. bought some more heads since dec. bought more gear for recording. got approached to finally do a hardcore/grind band down here. though I'm on guitar instead of drums. Whatever works I suppose. I still find it funny that I lack guitarists down here that can either play something worth a fuck, or aren't flaky as fuck. Oh have a death metal band going on too that's long way working as in one dude drives down 5 hours and the other 3 hours for us to write and demo out shit till we get a full album together. so that's nice.
Busy otherwise. hell during that 3 months I was gone I pretty much didn't go to the gym nor play any music. so that's been hard so I've been getting back in both and life feels less like garbage now.

Doom room has been quiet lately.

Always happy when some familiar faces pop back.

Bought a Pharaoh fuzz again. Missed that BAT lifestyle and T-Rey and his gear accquisitions had me hard up for it.

I'm going through one of those "simplify" feelings right now. Feel like my Nemesis Delay may be on the chopping block. I just don't use it much during band setting to justify it. RV2 is gonna make it onto the board because the Delay/Reverb mode is heavenly. May just get a DD7 or something and plop it down for delay. WTF am I even doing with delay, nothing that verb can't do, fellas.

Odo: the whole RV series is great. I feel lame for recently offloading my rv3 but....Happiness.
Also, get your self a Compact Limbo III.
Never look back.
On the subject of revisiting fuzz Im really tempted to pick up another monarch and find a cool (cheap) muffstortion to pair it with.

SLK: still gotta pick up a step down to run the SS, but thats my jext priority aftwr fixing you up.
Good to see you posting again man!

Actually, anyone stack a Monarch with a Fuzz Throne/Face?

I've been mostly lurking for months. We moved to Ohio in January and all my gear was in storage until a couple weeks ago. So I haven't been playing any music, which sucks. I've got to get the basement spruced up so I can jam down there now.

Then I went full-on ISIS yesterday and bought an RV3.

I'm pretty sure I'm just running one reverb and three reverb/delays for my time section. Fuck it, boys, Boss Pedals are the fucking best. $22 Metalzones be damned.

Generally anything low impedance into a FF based design is going to be a little hairy. The inputs impedance of the circuit does not jive well with any kind of active input (active pickup, active device from previous pedal like a gain stage or buffer)

That being said its always worth a shot.

UNLESS

you are going FT into Monarch and in that case its totally different.

Just got back from Decibel Fest in Philly. I won't have time to catch up but I wanted to say HAY EVERYONE.

Also I've got a second band going now. Nothing at all like Khemmis -- black/death/sludge/hatred. If you need a soundtrack to misanthropy, here's your huckleberry - https://glacialtomb.bandcamp.com/
KHEMMIS. Doomed heavy metal. DECEIVER out 11/19/21 on Nuclear Blast.

GLACIAL TOMB. Misanthropic death/black/sludge. S/t debut out now on Gilead Media.

Good deals with: Ancient Astronaught, conky, crohny, D-Day, Corey Y, ryan summit, tons more here and on HCFX under this username

Yeah, Ive been using my BF as a preamp sort of thing, keeping it clean and using the FAC, EQ and volume to add weight to pedals before it. The FT holds up better like that, so I was thinking of using the Monarch in the same way.
The other solution I guess would be to convince you to do a run of Ormat preamps in the same box as a Fuzzthrone...

Tight I was wondering if you had gotten to play it yet, I forgot about the whole voltage issue. I don't know why I had to get one of those boxes for my Novik Blackfire 602 so I should've remembered that
