I'm performing tonight for the first time in probably about 6 years... and pretty much everything from that time and prior was as a percussionist. A little intimidated about playing guitar/singing. It won't be perfect but I'm super excited about getting back on that side of the microphone.

it's the 20th anniversary of the company I work for next week and we are encouraged to come dressed up as a TV or film character on Tuesday.
I need to lead by example and dress up, but I 'm not sure I care. So I'm coming as Mr Blobby (who apparently is well know in the UK but being French I do not know much about him) and I'm pretty happy with the costume!



Since this character is supposedly really dumb and clumsy and can only say "Blobby, blooooooobby, blooooobbyyyyy!!!", I'm actualy tempted to go and trash the HR office wearing this massive inflatable costume and then run back to my office to quickly get changed into something else and let them search the site for the bastard dressed as Mr Blobby who destroyed the entire HR dpt!

So... the costume arrived and I wore it all day, evidently I did not go to the HR office or trashed anything.
I normally spend most of the day in my office but on that day I needed to talk to a friend in the financial dpt so I wandered over there. As I was leaving his open space office, a girl wanted to take a picture of me wearing this crazy outfit. For some unknown reasons she actually started to shout "come on give us a dance!" or something along these lines. As she was behind me and because the costume is massive, I did not see that she was filming, but I started improvising some moves... Long story short, the 23 second video has been all over the world within the company and all over FB. Some people get known for their crazy guitar chops or their outstanding musicianship, I get to be remembered as the guy dressed as Mr Blobby. Life is odd!
