The thinnest string is almost as big as a standard E.

Last night I literally wrote my whole essay for modernist literature course. I wrote about Yeats and in short, the apocalyptic, occult, blasphemous and antichristian aspects of his alteration of the classic story of the birth of Jesus Christ in "The Adoration of the Magi" essay

goddamn 1300 words, just like that... fully referenced, quoting a gospel of Pseudo-Matthew, various yeatsian studies, christian symbolists and whatnot

i'm da bes

also it's metal as fuck

I just became aware of the Ibanez ES2 tonight. It's like the perfect delay for me.

I'm excited about gear for the first time in a while.

And I don't have to work tomorrow, I have to intern, but my supervisor isn't there, and I get to come in at 11:30 instead of 10:00, so I can just dick around until 5 (not that my internship is very strict to begin with), then help set up for a movie screening, take tickets (which is exactly as easy as it sounds), then have a date at 7 with a cool girl. Tomorrow should be a really great day. I'm really really feeling good right now. I mean there are drugs involved atm but I still have a lot to feel good about things right now.

Finished our group design project today! My last piece of coursework for uni, the biggest single thing in terms of marks in our degree, and I'm really proud of it!

This means all I have left of university is two exams!!

Plus my RRR arrived. This is a good day! :!!!:

My coffee date thing went pretty well, I think. We talked for like 3 hours, so I assume it was a success.
Not really sure if it was a romantic thing or just platonic. Either way would be cool. She was pretty easy to talk to though, reminded me of another friend. Usually I'm bad with these conversations but my new 'fuck it' mentality seemed to help me chill.

There was a pretty significant height difference though. Damn these short genes!

Hahaha, I wish it were the first half.

It's not as big of a deal to me as it used to be. It can be inconvenient, but I figure if a lady cares about it you shouldn't be with her anyways.

one thing that i'm really enjoying about being back in Chicago is that unlike California EVERYBODY isn't taller than me. the last show i went to i could actually see the stage. i swear there must be something in the water there...i knew Vietnamese and Chinese guys taller than me (>5'8").

I always wonder if I'm being kind of a dick by walking up close to the stage.
But also it's not my responsibility to stand farther back so you can see.
I DUNNO MAN.
