Oh crap, it's that time of year when my parents are ALWAYS home and I can never leave my room without running into an inane line of inquiry.

I really need my own place.

Talked to my mom for the first time in about a week to a week and a half and she tried to schedule plans the ENTIRE weekend.
I've not had a single weekend without plans since before me and my now wife moved in together in December. JEEZE.

Label wants us to cut three specific songs off our proposed album to get it under a certain time frame for pressing to vinyl.

The band discussion about this is 165 emails long in under 18 hours now and we keep going in the same fucking circles. We agree to cut the songs they want, and then two other members chime in with other songs we should cut instead. I've read the same argument 5 times over and nobody can still fucking agree. Then we agree to trust the labels judgement again and just cut the three songs they want to cut, and then band members chime in with "am i beating a dead horse in asking for..." and want to get it there way and that we should hold power over the label.... and then we discuss those ideas for 40 or 50 so emails before we get so fed up that we go back to just cutting the three original songs and start the process over....

I have a fucking headache from spinning around so much that I've stopped fucking caring....

We're allowed one, and we planned on using one of them for that, but that started another 50+ email discussion... :picard:

And now they started the copyrights writing / production credits discussion... this should be even better.... :excellent:

 I feel like this cautionary tale should end up in the "WHY DON'T I HAVE A BAND I'M SO ALONE!" threads.

Why is it that the job interviews I get are always for the jobs I'm least enthusiastic about actually getting?

It just might my friend... it just might.... followed by a "New solo project! I'm no longer playing synth pop and I'm switching to blackened doom!" thread.....

Finally getting my car back after 2 months of trying to/getting it worked on... I've owned it for 3 months... Not excited about this bill, and the bullshit that led to it finally being fixed.

Just feeling cruddy in all aspects today.

Apparently my loan won't cover the proposed increase in tuition, so now I have to file for a second graduate PLUS loan, and I still haven't found a place to live in Eugene yet.

I've been seeing this girl for a little over a month now. She's fun, we have fun together, but if I never saw her again I wouldn't be too hurt, and I feel awful about this; though, I kinda don't think she would be to hurt either. Normally I would just end it at this point, but I'm leaving soon so I'm confused on what to do. Wait and leave is kinda the option I'm leaning toward, but I feel bad being in a purely activity/physically based relationship.

My body's doing weird things. I can't eat, or at least not very much at a time. If I eat more than the tiniest of servings I feel as though I've eaten something that was slightly rotten. My throat/tonsils are giving me shit too. The left tonsil's been killing me for days, but I have the world's worst canker sore right next to it. I think the two are related somehow, so I might be going to the doc to see what's up.

Lastly, I feel really weird intellectually. Like I'm somehow out of sync with everything and everyone around me. I try to talk with people and I feel like there's some kind of crazy perception filter between us, so neither of us can quite make the other understand what we're getting at. The result is I feel kinda dumb and don't really want to be around anyone for a while, maybe a long while...
