there's a basic difference of focus here. you seem to say that your music is made for other people. i make music to please myself; if other people like it that's fine--i hope others like it--but i'm doing it because, well, it's one of the things i DO. one is not better or worse than the other...i've just tired of trying to make music predicated on the notion that it's what other people want/like/use as a life accessory.

so no. I do not do music for others, nor did I say so; nor do I breathe so that plants could convert CO2 to oxygen. the end result is merely that others may benefit from my work. if they benefit or not is a matter of chance/choice.

So I ran into some dude I really hardly know the other night, and it turns out he is looking for a roommate, it would be like $265/month and in like the best possible location for me in Milwaukee. The dude is a trumpet player in a band, and is really nice. Problem is, he kind of comes off as an idiot, I've never really seen him sober, and the night we were talking about this he ended up getting practically carried out of the bar. Now, I know I'm not the model of sobriety, but I'm still a smart, easy-to-deal-with drunk.

Sooooo, what do you guys think? The rent is damn cheap compared to the 1 bedroom places I've been looking at. And I'm willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and take the risk at being the more responsible roommate for once in my life.

Commence the terrible roommate horror stories...

Are you bigger / fitter than him? You can always haul out the ass-whip if he gets out of line or starts "practicing' at 3 in the morning. Just make sure to only beat him while he's drunk, and then he won't remember the details and maybe even forget it was you.

At 24 years of age, after a psychiatrist and a lot of talk with my parents and teachers; this video just made me understand I have ADHD. Noone ever suspected it beforehand. I listened it cuz a friend sent it to me and I was shocked to say the least.
This video explained all my motivation issues, and the crisis of anger management I'm having recently. (and I actually switched from sadness to anger cuz I got sick of me getting all the blame after not being wrong, a few years ago)

I'm kinda feeling lost. My dad is forcing me to get a job (and the jobs we can get are at best minimum wage, huge unemployment in croatia; and he doesn't like my idea to make a garden with food we can eat. thought that's being proactive, even suggested it a year ago but they didn't like the idea then either)

Feels like I'll have to move from home surely when they come back from their vacation. Just can't stay anymore. Too much pressure and it makes me go into a rage that I really can't handle at times..

Just wanna go away somewhere far, somewhere where someone would actually listen to what I have to say.
