I met this girl at a bar last night, and we were just having idle talk, and then I mentioned American Football and she freaked out because I knew who Mike Kinsella was. & I thought that was going to be a good starting off point for conversation so I invited her to hang out with my friends and she said yes. But as soon as I made introductions she grabbed my one (female) friend and went for a smoke then proceeded to ignore me for the rest of the night.
