Mild irritation for the day: after turning on my computer and hooking it up to my modem in the new apartment, I go to see if it's working properly by clicking on the bookmark for ILF. Instead I have to jump hoops with comcast to get the shit working right.

Now my ILF bookmark has a comcast logo next to it instead of the ILF logo..... :picard:

sigh. .
Slightly larger irritation for the day.
Does anyone have a good trick to relieve anxiety? I'm okay whenever I'm really focused on music or art or reading something good, but I have to work the next five days, and I can't do those things at work. MUST. STOP. RUMINATING.

Thanks dudes. I work in a place where I can get all this, luckily. However, I wonder if it will just make me more apathetic to the source of my anxiety, or just make me feel sedated...... I'll see if I can afford them before payday. I'd much rather just be able to not dwell on what it is I'm dwelling on

I hate it when my racist intuitions end up true. I'm looking on mapquest over Washington DC, and notice there is a Malcolm X Ave. I thought this was mildly interesting (remember I find looking at mapquest for extended periods of time to be engaging) and as I look at it I realize it intersects Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. As I zoom in on the intersection of the two streets, all I can think is, "Please don't be a fried chicken place. Please don't be a fried chicken place. Please don't be a fried chi-"

BOOM! Popeyes

:picard:

EDIT: Gunslinger, you're at 999 posts, the next one should really count. Thought you should know.

I hope you don't wear contact lenses. I used to, and I also used to get crazy scotch bonnets from a CSA... almost blinded my damn self many times. The oil stays on your fingertips for days.

Whats a scotch bonnet? And a CSA?

Healthy Food is so fucking expensive. I can get like 5 cheeseburgers for 6 bucks but fruit and stuff, especially organic and non GMO anything is outrageously priced. Maybe "they" do want us to all stay fat and consume.
I make guitars and stuff, check it out at...
