I think when I had a look it was around 10% or something, seems stupidly strong for whatever reason.

Yeah, that's not unusual for some of those heavy-duty brews (I think Old Rasputin is 9 or 10 percent, too), but if it's done right, they don't actually taste that boozy.

Quite a few of us homebrew, we actually had a thread about it somewhere, but it seems to have fallen back quite a few pages. If you search for homebrew, I'm sure you'll find it.

I never really did the kits, because I started brewing with a buddy who already knew his shit, so he taught me to buy my own ingredients and brew from recipes right from the beginning.
