Walked in to a meeting for a freelance gig expecting a decidedly meh assignment.

Got hit with a much larger, much more interesting piece--and possibly a full time position.

Swag.

He moved to Madison over a year ago (I remember it was right before ILFestMke), then just sort of disappeared. He probably got taken by the hippies and now is playing in a hippy jam band that only uses "light and transparent" overdrive. Seriously, some people just walk into those headshops on State Street and don't come out the same person.

But more really he took on a new job and has probably been too busy with that...too busy for us.

Danke. I briefly had a few paragraphs up describing the night / my interaction with her but I felt it too personal to leave up on here.
Tonight was much more chill but still induced many smiles. Content.

It's my birthday today :)

Saw Gravity in IMAX, it was amazing. Normally don't like 3D but this was soul crushing.

yesterday i was terrified because i had a blood test that said i might have diabetes. happily, the second test said "no," i just had elevated blood sugar in the first test. i need to work on my diet and exercise to keep it from happening, but i'm SO relieved.

TWSS

No, keep your 'Lab, you've probably downloaded a virus onto it at this point. I'll get a freshie if I ever start a U2 cover band. This TC pedal will do me for now, espec since I'm working with tight board space.

TC Electronics should put out pedals called Magnum, Rick, and Higgins.
