Today was fucking awesome. I kinda wish I was more articulate and could come up with different words to describe it, but fucking awesome is what I've got and I'm okay with that.

Your amp takes out an acoustic, shouldn't make that one jealous.

It's cool when little things start to build up and make you happy
It's also really nice to go to bed smiling

Met a super cool chick at my friend's wedding.

Which is both cliche beyond belief and totally fucking rad.

Also, needless to say, the whole weekend was awesome. I don't get out to NYC very often, but it's always a good time.

And I'm like 65% certain that I'm about to get a full time gig writing about movies.

first day of work went all right. i can't even process because i'm so tired. but if i can learn all the stuff i need to know it'll be a non-boring job, which is a real blessing. i'm thankful that it went well, and that i felt physically OK because i felt AWFUL yesterday. one of the best things is that it keeps me from smoking so many damned cigarettes, which can only be a good thing...this is the first day in months that i haven't gone through a whole pack in a day.

NEW WORK IS AWESOME WORK!!!

Yeah it takes awhile to ease in and get your flow down but you'll be rockin it in no time no doubt... Less cigarettes the better and I'm with you on that...

Got to jam with Behndy the other day, which is something i haven't done in a long time. SHIT WAS SO GWAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!! :animal: Got to borrow a bunch of stuff. There was a Idiot box death ray in that bunch that im smitten with currently, as well as a sleeperdrone 5 which is the tits, can't wait to fuck with that more.

Speaking of Idiot Box, signed up for their tour box thing coming up. Can't fucking wait for that. Never done one before so it'll be a great opportunity to try out new shit.

And on top of everything else my dog had four puppies! :D

We laid down an awesome new song at rehearsal today. Apparently the band has gotten back on track after a couple of weeks that were not so great we totally shook this one out of the air. It is based on a jam we had two weeks ago, but we sort of improvised the whole structure and lyrics too. It definitely needs lots of polishing, but it is mostly done. And it's catchy as fuck. Hit factory is back in working order. And I got to use all the new pedals on my board.

Also I got into a thunderstorm on my way back while I was listening to Gastr Del Sol's first album.

What a great day.
