I tlked to my boss this morning and she is going to take me off the overnight shift. I won't have two days off in a row anymore and I'll be making less... but I'll be able to sleep and actually do things late at night! Wooo!

Being able to finally write after six years of pretending you don't have feelings feels pretty fucking incredible.

So does the fact that despite all of the bullshit and stress and heartbreak I can be content in knowing that I still have the ability to love someone and be unafraid in telling them how I feel even if it isn't reciprocated.

Sorry for the ranty-ness, but I'm admittedly mildly inebriated. But still, shit feels good. #optimismgurl2013

Similar sentiments here. I'm tired of being apologetic to the world and to myself for how I feel about certain things, and certain people. Feels awesome to just let it all out and be okay with however they take it. I'm tired of keeping things inside, to myself, because I think the world around me won't like them for some reason. It's stupid to think like that because it's denying who I am. I'm tired of that creating regrets.

No mild inebriation here, just one drink a while ago.

These are things I'm only finding out now as well.
Life is too short to get hung up on/caught up in other people's emotional labyrinths, particularly when you're own state of affairs is neglected or sidelined for other people's minor dramas billed as main events.
Hugs for both you duders!

I just come back from the studio. And several things were learned:

a) if I am pissed off give me a mic, an echodream and a swart. Let me do my thing, baby.

b) This is shoegaze heaven:

my penis looks like a stumpy carrot, but it hasn't affected me because the last time a girl saw it was back in 2003 when i pulled it out in my drunken stupor and a girl slapped it away with an umbrella

Got to spend the day with my 9 yr. old niece and nephew...twins. Sister dropped them off and we had one hell of a time :joy: They both were always interested in playing music when they'd visit, guitar mostly but they really dig the synth gear i've let them play with. my smaller scale silvertone guitars are still too big for them so i'll just lay the guitar on the ground in an open tuning, one will strum and "use" a slide while the other tweaks away on the effects pedals. they will take turns. its freakin awesome the look in their eyes and smile on their faces at the nosie/music they're making :!!!:

i bought them each a korg monotribe last year and sis says they are always walking around the house making the strangest noises :thumb: i helped my sis pick out an acoustic guitar for them for christmas last year, so they both have one. was giving them lessons on guitar and piano over the summer. i hope they stick with it :) good feels
