and then there was the PGS spam-mail about artists accused of "plagerism." and not even mentioning the controversial (i.e. never legally resolved) ones like how Jimmy Page stole "Stairway to Heaven" from "Taurus" by Spirit. and then following it up with a "CAN GIRLS PLAY GUITAR?" one. i don't know why i haven't unsubscribed...

Saw that and was equally as confused and irritated. Actually did unsubscribe.

Got snubbed by a guy who was a friend for like 6 years. After all the shit I've done for him I'm insulted beyond belief and cutting him out of my life like a cancer.

I now have basically no friends in the city limits. Great.

Brb drowning my problems in alcohol.

tired, sad, not feeling well, thinking i wasted my life. does this happen to everybody? i'm going to be 57 in a few weeks and i'm back to entry-level work again. i wish i'd known what i was doing wrong while there was still time to fix it.

Check that, they cut me some slack on labor so it came closer to $500. Not as bad.

It's light outside and I'm still up... again. Fuck. Things have been really rough for me lately but god damn I definitely don't make it any easier for myself.

It's hard to give a shit about taking care of yrself when yr down, but you have to if you wanna make things any easier.
That said, sometimes it's really easy to stay up until 3-4 AM because, shit, why even get up tomorrow?
But ya gotta anyway, so you may as well do whatever you can to alleviate the suckiness, and normal sleep is super helpful.

The fuck is fat shaming? This young woman at a friend's birthday party was flirting with me, and went along with it cause whatever it's fun. She was a little on the big side, which really isn't my thing, but she was cute and had a nice personality. No plans on hooking up, and when I told her as much she got pissed and was all "it's cause I'm fat isn't it? People like you with your thin privilege and fat shaming make me sick! Go to hell". The fuck is thin privilege? Parties used to be fun D:

I dunno if I would have or not. It was friendly flirting with no intentions of going beyond that, which maybe was a dick move on my part. But regardless, I never brought up her weight during our conversation and as far as I could tell was nothing but friendly towards her. I just don't understand how my biological sexual preferences constitutes some kind of hate crime when her body type was never even part of the discussion :idk:

She probably goes to reddit.
Where you're not allowed to make derogatory remarks about anything but reddit-nerd-approved subjects.
Don't even think anything that may possibly offend someone in another dimension.
Now you have achieved True Neutral.
Now you are a member of Coldplay.

I just did that.

I don't really think you're in the wrong (a type is a type is a type and it sounds like that chick overreacted a little bit), but I definitely think fat shaming's a real thing... so by extension, I suppose thin privilege exists, too.
