I've become tired of only being able to read about a pages worth of posts in a 3 page thread because most of them are blocked. Like the way you eventually snap at that annoying irritating friend that just won't shut the fuck up, I'm instead choosing to distance myself from this once enjoyable place.

While I don't understand Teh Daltz lack of action, I at least respect it and know he has enough shit to deal with with people posting peens etc, and the small handful that act like them. The last thing he needs is another person throwing negativity into the mix. I'll hopefully be back when certain members' obsessions with this site have ended or at least cooled off and have dropped to maybe 50 posts a day.

I know how you mean :( And if it's the user I think you're talking about, I just treat them like that annoying know it all stereotype in every class ever. Their voice makes me instantly angry, so I just don't pay attention to what they say.

I've only ever blocked one person on ilf and I'm pretty sure they got ban hammered. I took off the block anyways, though. I like the super annoying friend/newcomer analogy. I might not really pay the newcomer much attention but I'd still hear what he has to say because other people might comment, and I certainly wouldn't stop hanging out with those friends.

Think of it this way, if you leave then there'll be even fewer people left to balance out his spam

i was pissed but my housemate said he'll fix it when he gets home.

How does someone even break a string saddle? :wha?:

If you foe a dude then you won't see his posts, which should clean things up a bit. I think. Unless you've foed me already. Then you won't see this post. Hmm...

I think the problem is he's either foed someone who posts a lot, or he's blocked a lot of people. I kinda think it's that former. But either would make it hard to follow the stream of dialog in a thread, by turning it into a kind of monologue.

My campus post office stocks standard USPS shipping boxes. I took a box, put stuff in it, came back to mail it, and they told me they can't ship packages. THEN WHY DO YOU STOCK THE BOXES JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

I think I just had my first panic attack. Still feeling it, sans the crushing fear of death.
I really don't want this to become a thing.

How did the panic run away from you compared to other times you've felt anxious?

I was driving back to work after lunch and was hit with the strong scent of toast. My hypochondriac brain convinced me that I was having a stroke, and I just lost it.
Instantly dizzy and nauseous. Felt like my throat was closing up. And, of course, capped by the 100% certainty that I was going to die right there.
The thought that pushed me through was, "I am dying. I have to get to work and talk to my dad."
I made it to work and my dad talked me down, and said it sounded like an anxiety attack as he understood from my sister and uncle having them.

I'm visiting my family in Conroe/The Woodlands for Thanksgiving I am so fucking bored that I'm thinking of setting of some Russian candles at HEB just to give this place some excitement. Thankfully I'm heading back to SA on Saturday for my special ladyfriend's birthday dinner/present.

My gf is originally from Austin so I go up quite a bit. I'll hit you up next time I'm heading thadaway :doom:

Exxon-Mobile is moving their HQ to The Woodlands so Conroe has had to expand pretty quickly. It's still strip mall heaven and there's nothing eccentric like you'd find in Montrose, Austin, or even San Antonio. Like I said in another thread, unless you're a soccer mom, retired, or a high school kid with a coke connection it's pretty dead. NORTH Conroe and Magnolia, on the other hand, are still very much backwoods and still a haven for the "shoot first don't ask questions" types.
