Getting censored is bullshit. This politician I've been writing about has managed to get my substitute boss to remove all my articles about the guy from our newspaper website. Now I will have to wait for our real boss to come in so that someone has the balls to confront the xxxxxxfxxxxx and put my stuff back online. And the worst is that the guy has outright lied about what I supposedly wrote on grounds of which he got my articles censored. The kind of elliptical reasoning is: This was written (lie) and it's not true so take that down or I'll sue you.

Fucking Post Office…
I had something expensive coming today. I am studying for Finals all day, so I decide to study in the living room so that I know I will hear the mail carrier knock and I can sign for my package. The mail usually comes between 2-3pm. I went outside to my mailbox at 3:30 and of course there is a missed deliver card in the mailbox…
I know they didn't even try to deliver it because I was in my living room for the prior 2 hours and I had checked the mail at 1:30, just in case…plus my dog didn't bark and she barks when anyone opens the porch door (porch is right outside the living room)…
I mean, it isn't like I was going to be able to play with what is in the package (waiting on power supply until Wed.) but damn I hate having a $1700 piece of gear bounce around more AND they have now fucked up my study plans for tomorrow (I was going to be in the school library all day tomorrow)….fucking douchecanoe...

Long story short, I hate my dad because he's a terrible, terrible person. I haven't talked to him in ten years, but for some reason he keeps trying to contact me. Seriously, there's no reason he'd try to contact me unless he wanted something from me or someone else was pressuring him to do it. Because i'm very good at being unreachable by any means, he'd pretty well given up on trying to contact me; that is, until he found out that I had moved to Oregon.

So for the last two months he's been harassing everyone in my hometown to give him information about me, they know he's a terrible person so they don't tell him anything. But my sister works in the mall, and even though he's a hypochondriac who'll never set foot in the mall, he's been calling her at work and now he's sending his parents in to talk to her/give her a message on Friday. He hates my sister, so this is really just another attempt to get at me.

After I'm done with finals I'm going to create an alt-email so he can contact me directly instead of harassing everyone I know. It's not fair to my friends and other family members to make them deal with my horrible father's attempts to get at me, so I'm gonna gives him a direct route so he'll hopefully LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Edit: just did a quick Google search of my name and Oregon and found my picture, email, and graduate program on the first page. Also, my picture pops up as the first result of an image search. He really should have no trouble contacting me unless he's that technologically defficient or I really look THAT different.

trying to sleep, but i can't. the background check for the Charlottesville job is dragging on, and naturally i'm worried even though there;s nothing horrible in my past, maybe my drivers kicense is suspended. i'm terrified with every change and delay that the whole thing;s going to blow up and then here i am with nowhere to go. but they estimated that if all goes well i'll have the relocation check going out Friday. i'm going to have to open a new bank account for it, though, because the BofA branch here CLOSED two weeks ago, i just don't want things to delay much more or i won't get there before Christmas, which is kind of integral to my plans, unless the company finds some way to transfer it to me, i suggested PayPal. this is really getting to me.

So I got in a wreck last night.

I was pulling out of a shopping center and this dude in a truck hit me as I was crossing the turn lane.

Even though the police said he entered the turn lane way too early given his destination, it was ultimately ruled to be my fault because of failure to yield. At least they didn't give me a ticket or citation.

So now I'm gonna be out $500 for my insurance deductible, my car is fucked up, and my insurance is going to go up. Woo fucking hoo.
