Had this the other night and creamed all over myself.

My first taste of beer was a Stonecoast Brewing Company 420 IPA. I'm pretty sure I wasn't a huge fan.
I had that once... Well, several times in one night. I recall it being pretty good. Was close to five years ago...
Yeah, they've been out of business since 2008. One of their old Brewmasters now runs a high end sandwich shop/beer + wine import place like five minutes from my parent's house. Needless to say the selection is pretty awesome.
I'm pretty sure my first all-to-myself beer was a PBR, though.

That's too bad they went under but really cool he has that store now.
Picking up a bottle of Stone Enjoy By tonight... And gonna try a sour. I've had a few really good ones and I'm curious to branch out.
My friend picked up a bunch of bottles of Yazoo's (Nashville's biggest craft brewery) one-time sour beer the other day and gave me one. Gonna sit on that sucker for a while and share it at a special occasion.

Just tapped my latest homebrew last night in my kegerator, and hooked up the nitrogen tank. It's a standard irish dry stout, although not quite as dry as I wanted, and it's not strictly black, more a very dark brown. Still fucking delish.

Anyone care to school me on beer glasses? I was thinking about picking up a few, but I really have no idea what I'm looking for.

If you like hoppy beers, getting a Spiegelau IPA glass that Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada designed is really awesome. It has an etching on the bottom and its shape combined with that improve head retention and it really hits you with hop aromas.
Belgian tulip glasses are great all-purpose beer glassware. I also like DFH's signature glass, also etched for carbonation. Both that and tulips are pretty good for stouts.

For a wheat beer:

For your regular ale:

For stouts and heavier ales:

For saisons and farmhouse ales:

For IPA's and other aroma heavy beers:

Or this one helps a lot with aromas and head:

Heady Topper is democratically decided as the best beer in the known universe, and it comes in a can.
Like a real beer.

Pretty much this, I don't use the IPA glasses though - they look weird to me. I have a couple of variants of Tulip Glasses as well as Nonic Pints.
Unrelated; I do like 90m DFH, though I think that there are better DIPAs around. Why is it exactly so popular? Is it just for the brand or that it is around 9%? Without being biased, New Zealand makes incredibly underrated Beers (especially IPAs) - they have the flavour without being needlessly OTT because IPAs are cool.
I wish that I could find more canned beers that are decent.

Only because it is quite an ugly beer full of floating chunks when you poor it out. The Alchemist demands that you drink from the can so people don't see it as much

Currently drinking one of these... FROM AN IPA GLASS. This is nice. Red IPAs kick ass.
