Last night I learned a lesson: don't bother trying to cook lasagna if you're even a little bit drunk, it probably won't go well enough to be worth the effort.

ugh yeah, I just did everything slightly badly, so the result was edible, but really disappointing. Not again, lasagna needs time and care, not hungry drunk rushing.

I rarely cook sober and I'm pretty good at it.

I find it really weird that my flatmate is super into american football. He's scottish, but he spent a year of uni in the us and he just really got into it. I get that, but I still find it weird that someone in england actually likes that sport.

Also, I really like that we're both sitting at 1am in separate rooms drinking and playing geeky videogames. We're not so different.
