Nice! I saw him a few months back when he came through Portland with his band. He's so good! Definitely one of my favorites.

I've only ever seen him acoustic, I would really like to see him with his full band; but I must admit I only really really "Brother's Blood" when it comes to recorded full band material. I had the chance to see him when he was touring for that record and passed it up. Stupid.

Yeah, "Brother's Blood" is probably my favorite too, though I'm really liking "Bubblegum". Have you checked that one out at all? It's a lot like "Brother's Blood" in my opinion, and Jesse Lacey from Brand New produced it, which I think helped contribute to some of the "heavier" stuff on the album.

Unexpected jam with some peeps turned into a session of good vibes. Worked out the basics of two songs. Might turn into a band, which is cool. Also these dudes host house shows and there will be a noise show in the future which I was invited to play, which should be fun.

I'll have to give Bubblegum a listen then, haven't done so yet.

I cleaned a good enough chunk in my garage/shed/building on my property for myself and the singer from the last band I was in to start to jam. I am setting up my midsize PA and going to test everything out tonight.
She and I seem to be on the same page about going in a way different direction than before. We were the prominent songwriters in the band so this could be good!

Sold my Obstructures guitar about a month ago now to have a nest egg in our safe. But I ended up paying for my wife to take some classes this upcoming semester with the money instead of letting it sit and I'm beyond stoked about it.
