Jesus, these last few pages really make me want an amp.
So much sick stuff.
My little Univox 1x12 combo won't cut it forever.
Better start saving...

Snapped a pic of all my shit as I was loading everything back after playing last night. Only thing missing is my telecaster. Haven't been this stoked on my gear in a while. Just need to find a bass cab that handles the power of the SVT. My 810 starts farting out fairly soon. At least just a hair before it's loud enough to keep up.

Left to right:
Traynor YBA-3 into a Scumback M75 loaded '74 Marshall 4x12
'71 SVT w/ matching 810, Fender Precision, a couple of pedals.
Sound City 100, EVM-12L loaded, rear open back Emperor 2x12, Weber Michigan loaded Olde Crow 1x15,
Rickenbacker 480, a couple more pedals.

been moving speakers around... got my orange cabs back to stock with V30 speakers
and I'm excited about the EVM-12L in the mesa cab.
had to drill bigger holes for T-nut
later this week I'll go back and solder it all together and put the front grill back on.

guess I'll put black tape or black nail polish over the t-nuts in the front to get it all black behind the grill.
then again I don't really care cause this is 100% a beater cab for punching faces.

the speakers aren't matching, and have been re-coned but they' still sound super tight. I'm going to love this cab.
maybe I'll bring a scale and weigh it (I predict >120lbs)

I guess while I'm here:
I recently bought a cab that came with Fane Speakers
they look like this

I had hoped they'd be 12L but I doubt it now that I've opened it up.
any idea what model they are?
I'm mostly concerned with how much wattage they can handle?

(I suspect they're Fane Medusa, of which they make 75wattm 100watt & 150watt models)

Ugh, my 212 has EVM12L's and it's a heavy motherfucker. I can't imagine a 4x12 loaded with them. Must sound huge though. Can't help with the Fanes though, sorry.

4x12 loaded with evs hahaha I hope your van has air ride cause that's gonna be a heavy fucker.

I predict 140 pounds and a broken plastic handle. (unless U has metal ones)

the mesa oversized cab has metal handles, so that'll be ok.
The EVM-12Ls were in an orange cab before, and my orange cabs live in cases... so that was the heaviest stupidest thing ever (never even bothered to gig em that way it was just too dumb heavy)

paired with a hiwatt DR201 it's the loudest half stack I've ever played. rivals SVT&NV412
the EV in orange cab were too directional, so I'm expecting even more projection in the mesa angled cab!

Ugh, pics of this half stack!? I love 200's. I've been wanting a MK3 Sound City 200 forever but they never come up. Hiwatt DR201 being my fallback option.
