We just call it the "doom" room in the hope we might lure hipster girls there...into our rape vans....I mean vans of righteous wizarding.

RE: doom room thread

Why don't people start individual threads on the i heart doom subforum? Did I miss something?

Also, I'm going to pick up my Squier Bass VI today.

Stoner doom is generally boring and uninspired.

On a more positive note, Queen Elephantine are playing in (the proper) Portland in two weeks-ish. I am super stoked -- been listening to these guys for their entire tenure, never had the chance to see 'em live before.

Kaliash was my fall '10 jam:

And Scarab is a solid stoner/space progression:

GUISE I'm EXCITED.

Saturday is Awesome Gear Day - waiting on delivery of a Catalinbread DLS mkIII, and just scored a Laney AOR 100 on eBay. Now to find a decent local 4x12....

I might get an Orange Rocker 30 head if I can find one in black. It would go with my Matamp cabinet well. I want a stereo rig and my Jet City doesn't cut it for that. I can't afford it right now, but later this year, I think I'll go for it. If I can find one for £400, brilliant. It always sounded good to me.
