Whenever I have to load my drums up for a gig I think "Guhh, why can't I play guitar/bass in this band, grump, grump, etc..." but if I think about it... I'd have to bring at least one guitar, pedalboard, amp, cab, accessory box with picks and straps and cables, cases for everyting, etc.
So when I gig out with my drumset I just bring my small one: kick, snare, hats and a cymbal. So yeah, I'd probably have more work if I played guitar or bass.

Now if I have to bring the big kit it's a whole other story...
