Oh, and Gold's Gym is going to take $75 from me to cancel my membership because I moved to an area that doesn't have any of their corporate locations but rather has franchise, which are 2 separate billing systems.

Corporate said if I enrolled in one of the franchise gyms they'd waive the termination fee but I'd still have to pay the enrollment fee. The latter is more expensive. So instead I'm joining up with a gym that's closer, newer, has an Olympic pool, and is cheaper.

On the flip side, if you've been really using your gym membership I'm sure you can kick their asses until they give it back.

Apparently Youtube has defaulted to everyone's Google+ account. You can restore your favorites, etc. by clicking your name in the top right corner, going to "Switch Accounts," and selecting your normal YT account. Still a load of horseshit.

Man, trying to figure out a way to set-up a bunch of gear (Drum machine, Synth, Sampler, Modular and a bunch of effects, Mixer) so that I can easily access any piece, and so that cables aren't covering the mixing board…So hard. I guess I need to build some sort of shelving that goes over the mixer or something.
Plus I am not seeing the Sends and I know they are on the mixer. I see a shit ton of inserts but I am trying to set-up a dub mixing situation…

Frustrated.

Locked myself out of my apartment yesterday around midnight. Finally managed to get a hold of someone around 1 so I could crash at their place. Just finished walking back to my apartment from Brookline so I could get let in.

Having a motivation-less week. Work is taking too much of my time, energy, and focus from the things I'd like to develop. I have no focus or drive when I get home from it, and when I do have drive, I can't concentrate. So I look into learning to tattoo, but....

Tattooing seems to be one of the most counter-intuitive things to get into. Get a bunch of tats from a guy and he says "no" to teaching. Shops really look down on people doing that shit out of their homes, for many good reasons. And yet, some of the tattooers I ask say "well, you could always teach yourself." And then, randomly, I happen to come across an ad for a tattoo artist that says "full-time artist, no apprentices, no scratchers." So they seem to not want to teach anyone, sometimes flat out contradicting their own advice, and yet when they look for people to work at their shops, they want someone with experience. WTF?! It's the same shit as trying to move out of America. Everywhere you want to move needs to you have a work visa, which usually requires a long stay visa/pass/whatever, which, in turn, requires that you can support yourself, which requires that you have a fucking long stay visa. FUCK WHY IS EVERYTHING SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING?!?!?!?!?

trying to find one with openings who takes my insurance and is close enough to home thay i can get there has been just delightful. then i have to hope the one i find works well with me. and it's not an exercise, either...i fucking need help.
